Dinner: what did you have?

Bowl of Kroger brand oatmeal squares cereal with skim milk, piece of low fat mozzarella string cheese, cup of Plenti greek yogurt (has oats, flax seed and pumpkin seeds in it), and a piece of whole wheat bread with peanut butter.

Had to go back to Cleveland this week. Stopped and ate with a friend in Covington. He took us to the Forte Wright restaurant. I love little places like that . Good food and not expensive. I had the home fries. It was a plate full of homemade fried potatoes. They were sooooo good. Men had omelets.

While in Cleveland we ate at the Winking Lizard again. My husband had not eaten there. I love it. I had the steak asparagus salad again and it was wonderful. Hubby and Vinny had burgers and fries. As a appetizer we had spinach dip. It was one of the best I have ever eaten. If you go there try it.

Love the Winking Lizard. Gotta have their wings though.

Had dinner at @lawnboy brothers house. Smoked ribs, brisket, pork, corn along with Mac and cheese, etc. amazing.

Drank a variety of fine wines as well.

You missed a good one LB!

My husband got a order of them. I didn't try any but he said they were good.

Wife wanted to go out again. Talked her into picking up a couple of steaks for the grill. Added some shrimp and asparagus to join them on the grill while she did some stuffed jalapeños , it was outstanding.

So I'm getting the impression the rest of the night went well? Hope the adding of the shrimp bared fruit...:smug:

It would have but I chose to watch Walking Dead instead. A man has to have his priorities. FYI, I also gave her the tiffany earrings Saturday night. I'm in pretty good standing right now.

Baked boneless pork chops, with a cheeze it topping.

Garlic mashed potatoes

Sweet corn

Took a couple of chicken breasts, put them in an iron skillet with olive oil, then browned them in rosemary, garlic, salt, and pepper. Once browned, I added white wine, mushrooms, yellow squash, and zucchini. Then placed the skillet in the oven at 450 for 45 minutes.

I will have to try this, sounds sooooo good.

Browned than baked than pulled apart rabbits this morning. Added some gravy. Putting on biscuits and or noodles. Grilling bacon wrapped quail, duck breasts and deer steaks. About 6 couples getting ready for a wild game feast.
