Had a "Hippie Burger" and home made and seasoned potato chips last night at ACE resort in West Virginia last night. The burger was two large meat patties, four different cheeses, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo, with a layer of smoked pulled pork. It was by far the best $6 burger I've ever ate. The chips were deep fried and seasoned well, possibly the best chips I've ever had as well. Outstanding food at that place at extremely reasonable prices.

Sausage burger, corn on the cob, homemade Greek pasta salad.

Came home after Ms Slick's little ones football practice and threw some chicken breast on the grill, smothered in bbq sauce from Scioto Ribber!!!!!!!

Homemade Veggie soup with elk meat. It was sooooo good.

I've got a pepperocini roast in the crock pot for tonight. The wife's making mashed potatoes, and cream corn to go with it.

I bought a huge roast, so I'm thinking of stopping to grab some hoagie rolls, and throw some mozzarela or provolone on with the roast for later in the week.

Beef and sausage meat sauce over roasted zucchini.

Made some tacos last night. Pretty solid.

Had some meatloaf the other night from a recipe we got from a relative. Having the leftovers today for lunch. So good.

La Isla's favorite plate.

Which is shrimp, chicken, steak, and chorizo with rice, beans, and tortillas.

Not much in the fridge. Had a makeshift grill cheese with Jewish Rye, Harvarti cheese, last slice of deli turkey, left over tomato slice, and last of pepperoni slices which have been in there forever. Pretty dang good, pepperoni added some zip.

The wife is out of town, so I took a new employee to dinner at DeSha's.

Had boneless wings and stuffed banana peppers.

Bonus got wings for lunch today.

Been to Cleveland for a couple of days. On my bucket list was to eat at Iron Chefs Michale Symon's restaurant Lola. We ate there for lunch and I had the BLT and green salad. The BLT was made with pork belly, it was sooooo good. The salad had fresh peaches, sliced almonds, onions greens with a sweet vinaigrette dressing. My husband had the turkey sandwich and fries. He didn't like his sandwich, It had pesto on it, I thought it was great. He is building a new restaurant right beside Lola's that is going to be a bar-B-Q place. Should open in November.

For supper Tuesday we went to Harry Buffalo's . Vinny Zollo his roommate from England and my husband had Bison burger. They said they were really good. I had the spring salad with steak. I love salads with greens, fruit and a sweet vinaigrette dressing. Last night we ate at this really neat cafe near Cleveland St University. Believe the name was Pour. I again had the spring sald with steak. Vanny and hubby had omlets filled high with onions, steak, mushrooms and cheese. served with huge chunks or roasted potatoes. Love eating in Cleveland they have some really good places to eat.

Homemade chicken and eggplant parmesan, bowtie pasta.

Cedar Plank Salmon, salad with balsamic, water…passed on the cous cous…..mostly because last night ate an entire Dewey's pizza….

Son came home for the day from UK. After playing 18 holes, thought he'd want steak, seafood, etc. Instead, just wanted homemade biscuits & gravy (for dinner?).

Fine by me, much easier on the wallet!

Actually tasted very good with a couple Boston Lagers.

Need to walk tonight for sure.
