Texas Roadhouse for me tonight with both of my girls!

Gummi bears and pistachio nuts

Lucky charms........don't judge me.

Cereal is always a solid choice for a meal!!!

Grilled Filet mignon with a spicy blackening & a side of Mac & cheese.

Chili and Kentucky basketball. Its tradition!!

Last night I made fried chicken for the first time ever. It was that bag of frozen chicken tenders. Always thought it would be too hard to make but it was so easy. Not the healthiest choice, but it turned out great and almost everybody ate the same dinner.

Sunday I cooked Crab Legs, Lobster tails and Frog legs.....we had a feast.

A granola bar and lots of Bourbon.

I've been trying to diet, for what it's worth. A 48-hour flu bout last week gave me a good jump-start to that diet. Dropped about 15 pounds in the past week.

15 pounds in a week?

That's nuts, I eat about 8-10 pounds of potato salad a week. I'm not a fat boy either, lol.

Focus on the flu aspect. Two days of not keeping anything down, backed up by two more of being scared to eat anything because of, well, "where's it gonna go but out the backside?" and there you are.

Since then, my stomach shrank dramatically. Kinda hard to gain weight on an apple, a granola bar and a sandwich. That's been the menu the past two days. Hope I got room for the banana I swiped from the office, because I couldn't put it down earlier today.

Thanks, flu! That's why I laugh at you jokers who get those flu shots. Why would I do something so crazy and take a pass on the residual benefits (should I catch it, of course)?

Understandable, i I don't get flu shots either. With several nurses in the family, I get chewed out about it every year. Yet im the only one who has never had the flu.
