I have to tend to agree. It will be a Highlands guy. No way Highlands tries to go down that "One" way street again.

Might John Schlarman be interested in this job? Not sure he wants to get out of the college game, but that would be an interesting name to throw their hat in the ring.

Would you leave a D-1, SEC job, probably making 6 figures to coach high school for around 10k plus whatever a teacher makes a year? I know I sure wouldn't, but he is probably the only name that might make the HHS administration consider anyone but BW.

Question is why did they not name him Head Coach when Dale retired? He had the Co Head Coach title. Is there a rule to it must be posted and they have to take applications? Anyone?

It has to be posted 30 days just like a normal position.

Coach Lickert is building his own legacy and something very special at Campbell County. Hopefully he remains the Camels HC for many years although the allure of the Highlands top spot would be tough not to consider (IMO).
