SK really struggled passing the ball tonight. They only attempted three passes in the first half which isn't what you would expect from the offense. Those WRs who made of time of it getting open all season long weren't able to get loose tonight. Sad to see the run end, I guess my Friday after Thanksgiving won't be nearly as exciting.

As aggravating as it is, me three. SK has no doubt changed, but it's time to start beefing up the schedule outside of district play.

 

They never trailed by more than score this year, a few more tight games may have served them well.

I will say that if Campbell County had played Highlands later in the season it would have helped more. You cannot duplicate the speed you see late in the season without playing Highlands if all you are going to play is NKY schools. No other team has it. Coach Lickert has at least manned up and is showing his players what it takes to take it to the next level. I hope that any team that has aspirations to win a state championship will try to schedule them so they know what to expect to make a long playoff run.

Remember the schedule they played and scheduled was coming off a 2-9 year. I have no problem with them and their schedule.Now after these contracts are up sure add a team or two. But to suggest they should have one already in place is foolish unless you have a crystal ball and know how your team will develop after that horrible season.Look at the excitement this team brought the SK community since the 2-9 year when they fully committed to the two platoon system. Now they can build on this season and on the excitement of winning and playing a lot of players. I think they are heading in the right direction.
