It would not bother me one single bit if they told all the schools that have kids living out of district that do not pay tuition or are lying about where they live, that they cannot play any sports for 4 years when they are caught. No kid can play at that school and any kids that transfers is ineligible to play. Punish everyone, because 99% they know what is going on.....hardly anyone is innocent in a situation like Fairview.

 

The parents of the "innocent" knew that these kids didn't live in the community, knew they didn't grow up playing ball with their kids in LL, and probably knew they didn't even live in the state.

You are aware that each county and each independent school district sets their own attendance zones. The transfer rules are the KHSAA rules.

I'm trying to find a copy of the "email". Actually it was intended to be an email but Mr. Music used the wrong email address and when it couldn't be delivered he printed it out and mailed it. I know Spindoc and LRCW read it or had it read to them in LRCW's case but it's a hum dinger.

Not sure how or why you are calling me out in regard to examples of foul play ... matter of fact ... I intentionally did NOT speak about my opinion as to whether Fairview is guilty in this situation. Matter of fact ... I could care less as to whether Fairview did this or not.

 

I do, however, care very much about the part where sidelinedoc put something on this board that he admitted was not verified. I think I made my point pretty well when in regard to the fact that the KHSAA is NEVER going to shut down an entire athletic program (because it would affect innocent kids). I am sure they will get some sort of punishment .. but it is pathetic to think that the KHSAA (or even spread that speculation) would give Fairview the death penalty.

You jump all over sidelinedoc for unvalidated info. Then ask me to go back and read. I read very well as a matter of fact. And I can tell you unequivocally that his info is spot on. I got similar info from someone who was actually in the room. So to make sure you knew I was a champion of truth, I wanted you to know I had first hand account. Your attack was aimless towards sidelinedoc and I thought it was unwarranted. You admit you don't care about this case so how much do you really know about it minus this site and read here? Likely not too much minus a few text contacts you may have. We have experienced it first hand. So, it's whatever.

Without violating any rules or laws, and without making any accusations, I can give you some thoughts to ponder:

1. What if a program received a transfer student that had a transcript that said they had completed their freshman and sophomore years but had to repeat their sophomore year and the player had already played two years of athletics and the new program ignored that and let the player play three additional years, even after the schools councilor told the coaches that player was ineligible?

2. What if a school superintendent owned rental property and allowed multiple out of state players use his rental property's address while the students were still living out of state, and the school was getting Kentucky state money to educate those students that supposedly lived in the Kentucky?

3. Did your school spend $180,000 on football last year, minus facilities, salaries and equipment?

4. What if a coach had been removed from an out of state schools facilities because the out of state school's football coach was tired of this coach encouraging his players to transfer?

5. If a superintendent's son was a teacher at another school and many student athletes transfer from the son's school to the superenintendent's school then the son is no longer retained by his school, what would your conclusion be about that situation?

6. If multiple players are ineligible at their school, can they transfer to another school and become immediately eligible?

7. Should a judge who's wife owns a thriving business in a school district make a decision on eligibility of a player in that school district, or recuse himself?

8. Should a High School Principle who also coaches football cuss and yell at fans of opposing teams?

9. What would the logical explanation be if multiple players have given an address of residency and when the person that owns the house says they have never seen those students?

10. What if a person who is an AAU coach in another state who has multiple players who have transferred to a school that pays him $500 per week to transport two students to an off campus vocational school?

 

How far back could some of this stuff had gone back to? I know Fairview ended my high school playing career, when they beat us in the playoffs in 2003. Which their stud runningback Jennings, came from West Virginia didn't he? Hopefully all that was done legally.

 

Which I must say it is nice saying though that I played against an NFL runningback, he was amazing!

To my knowledge, he was living with a family on Navajo Trail, along with another Fairview player at the time. I knew the family, they moved out of the area a few years ago. There is a long story behind how he ended up there, I knew then that Fairview would eventually end up in trouble over it all.

The family I am referring to started an inusrance agency in Ohio and live there now. I dont know if it is true but the agent here said they were in good hands.
