Tired of people who try to pass speculation off as fact? TIRED OF IT.

 

It comes down to this ... someone needs to remember the kids at Fairview who didn't do anything wrong ... who go to the correct school based on their address, etc. There are adults on here who seem to forget that point.

 

The people at Fairview who are the root cause are the ones who need to be dealt with.

The kids at Fairview who are not involved .... are the ones who are going to get screwed here because the lynch mob wants blood.

I live with, have relationships with, and grew up with hundreds of Fairview people. There's no axe to grind. These accusations are all out there for a reason. I stated mine for you because they are fact and first person. You can in no way invalidate these claims by sidelinedoc any more than he can verify they are true. So, let me ask this, if sidelinedoc ends up right, does he deserve an apology from you?

 

As to the kids at Fairview who didn't do anything wrong, it's not their fault. They were collateral damage. And that's the dang shame of it all. No one on this board wishes harm on those kids, but this crap has to stop.

Nope ... not going to be satisfied until the adults in charge (there and on this website) quit acting like they are more important than the kids at Fairview who have done nothing wrong.

 

Roll your eyes all you want ... but your posts have always suggested the same thing that I said to Ram (that if this were your team .... you would fight to the death to defend the kids who did nothing wrong). Right or wrong?

I agree that the kids that did no wrong shouldn't be punished, but guess what? Even though they did nothing wrong, the aparents and the coaches and everyone connected to the school athletic program knew what was going on and did nothing to stop it so that means all the kids who did nothing wrong get punished and they have no one to blame but their own school administrators and coaches and even their parents if they knew and said nothing.

 

Yea, innocent kids are getting punished, but they also could have reported the information themselves. Sure they wouldn't and shouldn't have to, but to get upset like you are and going after people on here when you should be going after the coach and the rest of the idiots down there for letting it happen would make more sense than going after members on here

If you witness a kid being bullied, and do nothing about it, or refuse to report it to the proper authorities, are you innocent?

When Rose Hill had the axe drop those kids got a get out of jail card by the khsaa to transfer no questions asked. So it's not a forgone conclusion that they suffer if they want to part ways.

Okay .. we are getting closer now ... the problem with what sidelinedoc said .. is that he ADMITTED that the comment was not verified. My point there ... why spread it if he is not sure? My point there .... we have kids who are innocent who are going to believe that they are not going to have an athletics program because of the situation. So .. that is where I am.

Who do you go to? If you go to the KHSAA ... they are going to follow their hierarchy ... did you talk to the principal, did you talk to the superintendent? What do you do then? Go to the cops? Sure ... of course. Maybe that is what we would do. But I can't tell you that because I am not involved.

 

But it is never as easy as it seems from the outside.

The phrase "duty to warn" comes to mind. A different animal for sure at the HS FB level, but nevertheless...

I can't see any way they are punished. Back to the local gold standard for punishment, Rose Hill, only the boys basketball program had the sentence to serve. Not the rest of the athletic programs. Can't see where they have it here.

I was simply speaking about the football team. I don't think there are any innocent parties among the football team. In no way do I feel the other sports should be punished. I do feel that the all the football coaches and administrators have to go though.
