So what's up with all the 10th Region teams this year? We are still in the try-out phase, itching to start practice:)

Any up and coming young players to watch out for...any great match ups....what are everyones thoughts? I'm already ready for the Mason Co/CCHS rematch, I think in our second week...that one still stings:cry:

Bourbon county returns all but one stater from last year,Hailey Waganer the 1 pitcher from last year. But the offence is intact that scored 309 runs last season with a 31-10 record. They have five pitchers on the roster Hannah Waganger Jr, Ariel Dailey 8th, Allyson Sanderfur So, Cassie Poynter So, and Kierston Robinson. All of these pitchers played travel ball last season. Ariel Dailey pitched for the Central Kentucky Batcats and pitched her team to the ASA A State Championship againist the Louisville Lady Sluggers 14U and beat them. Hannah Waganer pitched for the Full Throttle 16U. The 8th Grader Ariel Dailey lead the team in hitting last year and is the real deal. Mercades Stanfield another big hitter for the colonels lead the team with home runs with 7. I look for a nother great season for the Lady Colonels.

It's all about "Building the Foundation" at Pendleton County. The last few seasons have not been a happy time in Falmouth, but this year hopes to be the start of a different story. Numbers look much better than in years past, and will only get better with the start of a feeder program at the elementary and Middle School levels. Many of the girls have returned from last year, and will by joined by 12 newcomers to the program.

Same teams again Bourbon Co., Nicholas Co. Bishop Brossart, Bracken Co., George Rogers Clark and Montgomery back in the saddle with Bart Back. Bishop Brossart won 26 games last year, plays one of thee best schedules and returns starters at pitcher Karlie Shackelford, first base Maria Greis, shortstop Allie Anstead, thirdbase Gretchen Trumbo, left field Shannon Kremer and centerfield Tricia Kramer. They lost second and right but have a host of veteran and young players (30 in all along with 16 seventh and eighth graders to fill the void) They also return pitcher Mary Kay Reilly and Super sub Emily Greis who should start this year and several others from a team that won the District last year. Should be much improved with most returnees starting their third year as starters. This is a team that has the last two years started a lot of freshmen and sophomores who are just now coming into their own. They have a new field, new uniforms and will start off the year with a Florida Trip and the Uncle Pete Classic so as always Coach Baynum's team will only get better.

Good to hear! :thumb:

If some of those dozen newcomers are athletes, the Lady Cats could have a really nice turnaround this year.

I'd add Harrison to the mix of top teams in the 10th.
