April 10, 201412 yr "Where Nobody Knows Your Name: Life In the Minor Leagues of Baseball" - John Feinstein I just finished another book by John Feinstein: The Last Amateurs: Playing for Glory and Honor in Division I College Basketball Took me a while to get through because it was a little dry.
April 19, 201412 yr Got through my next one really quick: The Appeal by John Grisham. I enjoyed it, as I have anything I've read by him.
April 20, 201412 yr The Martian by Andy Weir. One of the best science fiction novels I've ever read. Very believable; realistic & gripping. His cynical sense of humor is great! Language is a little coarser than I prefer, but I cut him some slack. After all, he was abandoned on Mars.

April 22, 201412 yr Well of Ascension....Book two of Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn Trilogy. Really enjoyed the 1st one, Mistborn, looking forward to reading the rest of this series and starting on Sanderson's Stormlight Archive series. Let my Dad borrow the 1st book in the series, he finished it in less than a week, and ran out and bought the 2nd one, and is already done. Now he's mad he has to wait for another series (in addition to GoT's). :lol2:
