The 12th Region is wide open this year and you can feel the excitement beginning to build. Southwestern is getting the momentum at the right time but there are quite a few teams that are right in the mix and capable of cutting down the nets. I think the Ads should be a spot or two higher but considering their inconsistency at times this year I don't have a lot of qualms with their ranking. I'd love for the team to make it to region for the first time in six years, though.

I'm really looking forward to postseason play. The 12th region tournament will be awesome.

I mean, at the time this was written, Boyle had lost 4 of their last 5 games, including a loss at Danville.

Danville had won 4 of their last 5 including wins over Boyle and Casey.

I'll say it like this. Danville is playing better than they were earlier this season and I wouldn't be surprised if they end Boyle County's season next week. I do expect Boyle County to win that game but Danville is certainly capable of winning. I can't rank Danville ahead of Boyle County because they beat Boyle County the last time they played for the same reason I can't rank Garrard County above Danville even though Garrard County beat Danville the last time they played. And Garrard County beat Danville the game before Danville beat Boyle County so all of this happened in the last two weeks.
