Depends on the draw, matchups, matchups, matchups. For instance, I am sure CCH would rather draw Bellevue versus a Boone County. No knock on Bellevue (haven't seen them play this year), but I am sure they don't have the ace that Boone has.

Playing the better Cincinnati teams helps as well. I know CCH has recently started scheduling more and more Cincinnati teams.

He is a very impressive handler of the ball, especially for a freshman. He just stays so poised and under control out there. Plus, I heard on the webcast that he shoots free throws around 85% for the year. He is going to be a good one.

I watched this game on the webcast, have all the games in the tourney been called this tight? Just asking because this is the only game I have seen. It makes watching a game brutal and I can only imagine being on the floor playing, it has to be frustrating.

Difference in this game. CCH knocked them down and NCC did not.

I don't think it has anything with rubbing it in, but more with Coach R trying to get his team ready for the post season. In today's world where parents think all kids should get a trophy for participating, I like the way that Coach R does things!

From an outsiders perspective, it appears that Highlands seems to have more success developing it's players, as they rise up the ranks. Every year we hear this is CCH's best freshman class, then four years go by and Highlands is still on top. What is the reasoning behind this, I am not sure, but maybe Highlands just takes it to another level in the offseason?

Unless I am a parent and have a kid playing in the game, why would I want to waste a beautiful Saturday afternoon watching a 42-0 thrashing?

I watched the CCH versus Conner game on Tuesday night, CCH has gotten a lot better since I saw them earlier in the year against Highlands. Highlands impressed me that game, should be a dandy first round matchup.

Maybe they should just make the same rules in highschool, as they do in the peewee sports, all players that play get a trophy and no ones feelings get hurt. CCH was playing the game and object of the game is to score and win the game. Sure there are instances when running up the score is wrong, but this scenario is just ridiculous and whoever is mad, needs to go back to peewee sports.

I think Meyerhoff's coaching style is either one that you like or really dislike, when playing for him. I had a brother play for the guy and they won a National Championship and let's just say there were a lot of kids; as well as parents that did not and still do not care for the guy. I think he is one of those guys that you either really like (which a lot of people do) or you just can't stand. You can't argue with the guys record and coaching, but there are other things that factor in. One of which is how he relates and deals with people. I know based on my experience from that summer, my kid would not play for the guy.
