Randy Parker Posted February 15, 2014 Author Posted February 15, 2014 Nick Ruthsatz finishes with 25. He's now the all-time leading scorer in CovCath history. Needed 12 to reach that milestone, I believe.
Randy Parker Posted February 15, 2014 Author Posted February 15, 2014 Adam Daria leads Dixie with 19. Dixie's first loss of 2014. 13-game winning streak is snapped.
callwhatyousee Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I guess my previous post I should have mentioned who my reference was about. I was really talking about Nick R, very nice player and nice shot, did he need to be in till 2 minutes left? I guess I respect teams more when they do not continue to pour it on with thier starters in while being up by as much are 30 at one time. Think it could have been a much different game has Dixie been able to get the role one time or another. CCH seemed to have it in hand from the beginning.
Bluedad Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Final. CCH looked dominant at times. When they are hitting and playing D like that they are a load. Glad we decided to leave just before the game ended though - roads are awful and knew once the game ended it would be a crawl.
Esoteric Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 CCH was up 14 within a few minutes and they never looked back. An all-around depressing performance from Dixie. Hatton played awful by his standards, and had what appeared to be a cheap intentional. Schreck in foul trouble the whole game. Just a bad, bad game.
Big Fundamental Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Was told Hatton looked frustrated most of the night. Only hearsay... Was also told CVH guarded him a good chunk of the game. Is this true? If so, I can vividly remember VonHandorf frustrating Bolden (albeit he still had 28) most of the night in their game against Holmes. If this is the case, his defensive ability is quite profound for a freshman.
katbird Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Hatton was off tonight. He couldn't of dropped it in an ocean from a boat. Hatton and Ruthsatz were jawing with each other all night. Ruthsatz is my favorite player in the 9th region. The kid is hard nosed and a great facilitator. Some of his passes tonight were unreal!
Walter Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Blue Colonels dominated from start to finish. Obviously Ruth had a big scoring night, but they are more than just him. Heppler and Schult both shot well from outside and Schuh played strong around the rim at both ends. VonHandorf did a nice job defensively and attacked the rim well. Covcath might not have the most individual talent in the region but they play hard and get after it at both ends.

Lawnboy13 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Adam Daria leads Dixie with 19. Dixie's first loss of 2014. 13-game winning streak is snapped. He could of had 6-8 more, as he had point blank shots just roll off the rim. Really love his game. :ylsuper:
