So was it a forearm from Hatton or a fist?

What caused it?

Well, as someone who knows the rules, you would know that a "fist" would have seen greater consequences.

I was hoping Walter had video of it (unless its in the highlights and I missed it) and could tell us if he saw anything.

Sweet pass from Schult to Bo on the lob.

Not necessarily.

Not necessarily.

What does that mean?

If the official sees a fist hit another player is it just an "intentional foul?" or not?

Not sure what you guys are talking about or which play?

I will help. Cole Von Handorf was setting a pick and as Nick Ruthsatz came across Hatton put a forearm right to Ruthsatz head. Very much a flagrant foul. Only thing Hatton did all night . Should have been thrown out. Clearly out of frustration by being completely shut down by CCH. Ruthsatz completely OUTPLAYED Hatton entire night. Hatton had six points with about 2 minutes to play. Ruthsatz dominated Hatton.

I agree about Hatton and his swagger. Definitely leaves a lot to be desired. I think I would have run and hid being shut down like he was. 6 points with 2 minutes to play. He showed me nothing. Then to take a cheap shot at someone. Very disappointing.

He was.

IMO, is "swagger" on the court, leaves a lot to be desired.

The intentional foul call on Hatton.

I did not see the play from my angle so I can't comment on ejection or not. If it was completely across the line then yeah maybe he should have been ejected. And I will also agree that Hatton did not have a good game but those happen.

However with all that said, you have to remember Ruthsatz could've been hit with a technical on the other end of the floor prior to Hatton's intentional when he charged at Hatton and got in his face.

Unfortunately this is to be continued. Hope not but the two really don't seem to care for one another.

Hatton was retaliating from a shot he received from Ruthsatz in the first quarter, surprised he took so long ...

Fortunately for us Hatton fans he would never take your advice and run and hide. Granted CCH did their job and made Bran much less effective than normal. However a high school basketball player of his caliber would never just lay down and not continue to play hard. Anyone who has watched his development over the last six years would most likely agree that his M.O. is not normally fouling out of frustration. He is a human and we all have slip ups now and then. Not one player is perfect regardless of their ability. If you make decisions on one night of play, sad for you as you have missed some pretty exciting basketball where he is concerned

Congrats to CCH for an excellent game and Mr. Rusthatz on breaking his school's scoring record.
