So what you are saying is that if a kid wants to start in the fall, he had better participate in Spring Football. Hmmmm! Makes it awefully difficult for a kid to be playing other spring sports and to try and concentrate all his efforts on football. If so, then that kid will have nothing left to give his other spring sport because he physically can't do both and perform at the highest of levels. What you say directly contradicts what Dale has said over the years about spring football. About how a kid won't loose a starting spot or that he will have plenty of time over the summer to win that spot. That way he can play other spots. Puts a lot of pressure on the kids don't you think?

It's almost you are responding through somebody else. These comments sound very familiar. All good comments mind you. In Ft. Thomas, it's my opinion that spring break plays a huge part in whether a kid plays baseball or not. I know the past coaching staff didn't allow it, but the new regime is smarter to realize you are fighting a loosing battle with the spring break issue. Spring Break is a rite of passage in FT. Every HHS poster in this thread supports all the athletes at HHS. HHS just gets to start earlier than everybody else. Nothing more, nothing less. Hmmmm! Interesting. Taking nothing away from the talent of the players, so where does that leave it? Congrats to NCC on their win. With the young talent HHS has, hopefully they can keep it there and build the program back into a force it once was.

This very well may happen. If it does, you know what that means in Ft.Thomas. Monday=Spring Football. Hmmm, wonder if the field is ready? For what it's worth, I see the Birds pulling both out. And football put on hold for awhile.

Actually if TFVH would just tell the person who told him/her, to post his/her own recollection of the event, then maybe some credence would be brought to the situation. I'm sure people don't get on here and say stuff that isn't true or too far from it. Defending the program is your right and more power to you. Other programs get blasted for defending their program, right or wrong. It's all in the eyes of the beholder. Nobody likes to admit if something went haywire. Better to just move on.

Seriously! HHS probably couldn't get Trinity on the regular schedule so they added them as a scrimmage. So at the end of the year, if both teams are State Champions, then the powers that be who want to add the, here we go again, LOL,the "mythical champion" of the the state, then they have a avenue to go back to. Like this year, the St, X fans still believe they were the best in the State. As do the HHS fans. And I think we all know who really was. :banana: Also there is word that the Birds will be playing some very high profile National teams in the summer 7 on 7 series. That will definately give them a feel for where they stand with the best. I think HHS program stands alone along with two others as the best in the state. I think Dale wants something bigger. He got that taste this past year and he is hungry for more. Yes, this past years team will be very hard to beat. It might not happen next season, but I think along with a lot people, that HHS will be very very good in the very near future. Maybe next. Ok, now that I have everybody :puke: LOL, let the games begin.

WOW!!! Sounds like HHS is stepping up their program. Some people on here feel that HHS schedule isn't always that strong. By adding Trinity albeit a scrimmage, this can only give the Birds a chance to see where they stand against what will probably be the #1 ranked team in the state next year. Add in some 7 on 7 tourneys and maybe they get a feel for where they stand "nationally" against some big boys. Looks as though HHS is heading to the next level. Maybe!:thumb:

How does the rest of the state know what Dale does and the people in the know don't? What are some of these teams that Dale has tried to schedule over the past? Beechwood doesn't count because they are within a stones throw and makes sense financially and I'm sure Dale thought they would be competitve. Maybe next year, maybe not. How much longer does HHS have a contract with the Beechies?

So then has KY's deadline come and gone?

I have a question. Is this guy from the Ky team of coaches, David Guidugli, Fort Thomas Strength & Stamina Coach, does he coach at HHS?

Ok, forget I said anything. I'm already getting nasty PM's. All I was doing was asking some simple questions. Nothing more. Geez! I'll go back to dreaming about going 54-1 in my little corner. I guess my name says it all. Oh, and I was kidding about the "bring it on" comment. Oh and 1n10!!!

Ok I will be the "bad" or "sour" or whatever for asking. I now they are designed by the "seniors" and they can put whatever they want and if someone doesn't like it then wait till you are a Senior and Win and design your own or just don't buy one. But the latter doesn't seem fair for the underclassmen. You know to wear a "senior" ring. Yes they went 54-1 as HHS players, but really not all did. Some Seniors didn't. I think either have two designs or one common team design. Don't discriminate against the others. You know it can be done because it done every time a class ring is designed. They are all different. Just my 2 cents. Bring it!!!!
