  1. Who is Scott County playing? They're still playing TBA on the KHSAA website. Also, does anyone have the correct gametimes?
  2. You're right. Al is unproven. He's shown time and time again that he doesn't have what it takes. C'mon...
  3. The Charles kid was the best player on the floor. There's no doubt about that, and there's no way I leave him open, but I usually like my chances when he's shooting from 35 feet.
  4. This puts him leaps and bounds ahead of where he's at in a basketball uniform.
  5. If he's suspended long, he'll be out of shape. He likes to spend too much time in the YUMMY center.
  6. Sometimes, when you let it all build up inside, you have to take it out on others to make yourself feel better. Krebs is the perfect example. Picture this... You're sitting on the end of the bench, watching your team get blown out by Gardner Webb, North Carolina, and Indiana. You go and get water for Bill Keightley occasionally. You look up, see the waxing your team is taking, understand you're on one of the worst UK teams in a long while, and realize you're still not going to play. That's when it hits you. He has to vent on someone. Poor Krebs.
  7. Creech will pull Breathitt over the top.:ylsuper:
  8. This thread is just another example of this fact... You can't talk to UK basketball fans about basketball. They think they know everything and most know little or nothing about basketball. You can't talk to Buckeye fans about football. They think they know everything and most know little or nothing about football.
  9. "Dwayne Schintzius is my favorite tennis player." "Keep all wallets and valuables in your front pockets, especially if you're close to the Gator sidelines."
  10. I loved Tim Couch. He lit up defenses while at UK. The offense was always fun to watch. However, with time, I have come to face the truth. Couch was a product of the system. Colt Brennan will be, and so will Graham Harrell. Woodson and Brohm are both great quarterbacks, and they're both Kentucky boys. Who cares what schools they play for? The two best quarterback prospects coming out of college this year are both from the Bluegrass state, and I believe they're both legit. I hope they are still rivals 10 years from now.
  11. Funny, to a point. When I watch analysis, that's what I want it to be. Corso and Herbstreit provide me with lots of entertainment, and they analyze games in a fair, unbiased manner. If he's not to be taken seriously, then give him a miniature weekly blip, like Hammerin' Hank.
  12. You're right, ND is horrible, but I didn't support your opinion. Both guys should be unbiased because it's nationally viewed. That was my point.
  13. Disagree. It's ESPN. It's not Notre Dame TV. Also, even though Mark May is not my favorite, he's been correct 5 out of 6 times this year on his ND predictions.
  14. If there are only 2 undefeateds at the end of the season, should they play for the national championship, no matter who they are? This could very easily happen. Say those 2 teams are South Florida and Boston College...This is not far fetched. South Florida's toughest opponent is out of the way and even though BC's schedule looks tough the rest of the way, we all know the ACC is not what it used to be. I look for both teams to lose, but I was just wondering, what if it did happen? I think the BCS committee would get some interesting mail.
  15. All I know is that if someone would've told me at the beginning of the season that Louisville would be getting 10.5 points to UC, I would've thought Brohm would be on the sidelines. Now, I think this might be the biggest sucker bet of the year. Everybody's going to be on Louisville. Not me. I first thought, can UC score with Louisville. Then I thought, anybody can score on Louisville at any time. I know UC's defense is good, but this the first big test. Rutgers' Rice is solid, but this should be the best offense they've face (by far) this season. I like the Bearcats, and big.
  16. Right now, it's McFadden's to lose. His team's not great, but everybody else is playing their way out of it. It also doesn't hurt that McFadden IS the best player in the country.
  17. It's okay to be a homer, but as an analyst, you should be unbiased. With that said, Lou always picks SC and Notre Dame. It would, however, be interesting to see who he picked if the 2 played each other.
  18. Looks like we have several homers on here hoping for a miracle. I'm a season ticket holder, and I'm dreading the trip.
  19. I say that if my aunt was a man, she'd be my uncle.
  20. Nice start to the season for the Cougars! Their only loss was against a very good Hazard team. I hope they can hang in there against the bigger schools. On a side note, I think their new wide receivers coach is making a big difference.
