Looks like Whitker has fit in just fine with his new team.

Whitaker is a stud. Deceptively quick with the ball.

Holland will be PCC's worse nightmare until he decides to retire one day...lol

Hard fought win for Hazard. These games are usually battles. Intense and emotional, as most cross town rivalries go. Tight ball game, Hazard pulled away late. PCC is better than most predicted. Give them some time to adjust to a new head coach and style of play and they will be a tough out come March. Play tough defense, an offense that looks to get the ball to Kelly or Maggard down low as the first option, however I feel Back might be their best offensive weapon, he was the best player on the court for the first three quarters. For Hazard Whitaker had a solid game, Campbell and Martin battled down low, and Jones played less then 8 minutes because of foul trouble. It will take a few more weeks for Hazard to gel, Of the 9 kids who played tonight 6 were playing football less 10 days ago and have only a handful of practices with their 3rd coach in three years. Look forward to rematch at PCC.

PCC controlled the tempo all night until late when Hazard got them to run a little and that was the deciding factor. PCC slowed Hazard down and it troubled them. When Hazard was able to run they scored easily. Very good game. Both teams will be in the mix at the end of the season.

Looks like Whitker has fit in just fine with his new team.

Why and how did he happen to end up at Hazard?

You're right. Al is unproven. He's shown time and time again that he doesn't have what it takes.

C'mon...

Well, another day, another sport. Congratulations to the Hazard Bulldogs for a big victory over PCC. I feel our team looked surprisingly good in spite of the fact most of them have been playing football up until two weeks ago due to our extended run in football. To me, this is a good indicator of things to come.

Coach Holland seems to be doing well with this group of young men and he and his assistant coaches are working hard to bring this team up to speed with his new system. Watch for the dogs to make a big showing well into the tournament season in basketball, too.

Go Dogs!!
