Was a great game, starting the 4th quarter it was 35-34. PCC's type of game, very slow. They were able to get Hazard to do everything they wanted them to, but they couldn't come through from the foul line. They were 7-20, will get you beat everytime. The Dogs did not out play the Dores, they just made the free throws when it mattered most. I think Whitaker was 8-8 in the 4th quarter. Can't wait for the next match up between these two cross rivals. Hazard will get better because they have only had there whole team a little over a week, but PCC will get better too. They are just now getting to know Hatchers new system and are starting to really play defense the way he wants them too. Nice job by both teams, very entertaining game on the floor and on the sidelines. Both Hatcher and Holland both put on a show, good drama for Perry county.

You're right. Al is unproven. He's shown time and time again that he doesn't have what it takes.

Good game and good win for the Bulldogs. No one has mentioned that Coach Denny Fugate was sitting on the Commodores bench last night. It looked like Coach Fugate's Match-up zone of the 80's. PCC impressed me for their discipline on offense and their defense.

 

Hazard will be much better then they showed last night. Their athletes will soon have the football out of them and then we will see the real Bulldogs.

 

I was impressed with PCC and also impressed with the Bulldogs potential.

Q_man, I also noticed Denny Fugate sitting on the PCC bench. It seemed odd to me because it seems I remember the KHSAA stating he would be ineligible to coach high school sports due to his unsportsmanlike behavior when he used to coach for MC Napier. I may be wrong, but I would certainly like to know more information about this situation. Maybe he is working as an UNPAID assistant???
