How many games will Perry Central win next season?

I've never understood PCC. Big school, good athletes, the Willis brothers, yet never seem to field a good football team.

They lost a great basketball coach. This browne guy left PCC for the college game and is now back. I believe its the quality of kids that come out and the systems that the coach uses for the personnel he has.

 

I see them winning maybe no more than 2 games.

Just thinking about PCC's schedule next year how do you guys think they will do against the schools below.

 

Whitley County - Tough game for the Dores. Dont know much about Whitley.

Hazard - Will have a hard time stopping Olinger and Campbell. Should be a close one.

Knox Central - Anyones ballgame.

Clay County - Clay wins this one.

Sheldon Clark - To physcial for the Dores. Dores lose.

Knott Central - Should win this one.

Prestonsburg - Think PCC plays them. Hard to beat P-burg.

 

Not sure about who the rest of their opponents are. Good luck next season Dores. We'll be up in the stands rootin for ya no matter what.

Knott County Central is the only winnable game I see on that list. I'm surprised Knox Central would be on their schedule.

Are you saying that the PCC coach now had a 7-4 record not to long ago? he left the team for I believe 3 years and went to Mississippi or Georgia to coach at the collegiate level.Then he had a D-1 QB in Holland, and a receiver in Willis ?? and a couple more decent players. Anyhow, they had the athletes then, and it may take time and they will be maybe average.

I just heard today that PCC will have a huge offensive line.

RG - Baker - 6'3 - 285

C - Napier - 6'6-305

LG - Miller - 6'4-285

LT - Combs- 6'4-250

TE - Maggard - 6'4-240

 

That is some good size kids to run behind. I dont know how strong and fast they are. I dont know if they have any real good backs returning other than Ryan Miller. But with that big of a line, one good back is all you should need. Good luck guys. Anyone know who will win the QB battle between Back and Amis?

They had the athletes then and the coach on a 7-4 team. The best record they had there. This same coach will put a great team on the field with the athletes he has.

Just because they are big, don't mean they are fast and can move, meaning athletic offensive line. As for skill kids, the QB from last year didn't seem to have rythem for the offense and didn't have arm strength to go down field. I know the running back from last year made a lot of yards on his own but had a time holding onto the ball, so where does that change this year?

 

I hope the coach can put a decent team on the field and win a few games because I see there being no reason with the schedule he can't go 500.
