If Breathitt's basketball coach last year thought as much of Fugate as lonewolf he would have probably not gotten fired!

Fugate had 403 yds on 32 carries.

Does anyone know how many returning linemen the bobcats have returning?

This is a solid list IMO!

Good win for the Lady Cats!!! They deserve it!!!

That is true, but the SL kids on this team didn't really play a great deal in the previous trips to Rupp. So I don't think that it will be too big of a factor. Hazard 70 SL 65

Buckhorn by 10

This could make for an interesting matchup, with Breathitt still getting into basketball shape. But, I'll go with Breathitt in this one. Breathitt 64 Perry Co. 55

Breathitt should be able to win this one by as many as they want!!! Breathitt 56 Fleming 6

Breathitt has way too many threats on offense for Lawrence County to handle. Breathitt rolls 49-13.

It looks like Breathitt Co. will have the best chance in AAA. Bell County in AAAA and St. X has a good shot in AAAAAA.

Breathitt will get a chance to prove themselves as a legitimate contender in class 3A. LCA is a talented team and Breathitt will have their hands full, but I will say Breathitt will prevail 35-21

I would say whoever makes it through the probable Belfry-Breathitt game in the playoffs, goes on to win it all!!!

Breathitt will win this one going away. They are improving each week. Breathitt 42 Cawood 14.

The Bobcats have too many weapons on offense and the defense has come along nicely. The bobcats will roll in this one 42-7.

Tate Cox Josh Whitaker Channing Fugate Clint Stepp Stuart Stamper

I think this will be a great learning experience for both teams. Both teams played well, but made several mistakes. It is still very early and these types of experiences only help to make teams better. By playing quality opponents and learning from mistakes made, these two teams will both be better off at season's end.

Breathitt looked impressive last night against Mad. Southern, but next week we will see a bigger test against P'burg. I look forward to seeing what they have in store for the Blackcats.

Breathitt 42-21

It would be good to see Noble get a shot in Booneville.

I've heard that John Noble from Buckhorn might be in the mix. He is a quality coach that has helped to build Buckhorn back into a quality program.

I have been to I believe 15 since 1988.

Breathitt County should be loaded next season!!!

JBS's coaches had their team ready to play and they had Breathitt's coaches scratching their heads all night long. Someone said that JBS would get out coached in this game. I believe we can say they were definitely wrong. This game shows what a weak schedule will get you, beat!!! JBS did the same thing the last couple of years, play weak regular season schedule and then get beat come tourney time. You have to play tough competition all year long in order to be ready come regional tournament time. JBS won this game from a coaching standpoint and from a playing standpoint. They deserve this win and I wish them good luck. It was about time they played some team ball. Hopefully the young Bobcats will keep their heads held high and look forward to next season!!!!!

Congrats to the Bobcats!!! Coach Peggy Moore is a class act and has brought these girls a long way. She was a talented player and is a great coach, she deserves this for her years of dedicated service to the game. Good luck in Bowling Green!!!!!!!!!!
