With most teams finished with district play and two weeks before the playoffs begin, injuries and staying heathy would seem to be on every coaches mind more than usual. Will the district games be played at the end of the year next season?

Does the winner of this one become the 3 seed and the loser 4 despite Boone and Ryle outcome?

They're an interception in the end zone against Ryle away from being 5-0. Defence comes to play every week. I like our chances when play-offs come around.

Place kicker Chris Grosser was on the sidelines tonight due to injury. I'm not sure what kind or extent, but he didn't dress tonight. He will be a huge weapon as the season goes on. The difference in the game tonight, imo, TURNOVERS. Congrats to Ryle on the W. The Bred's were right there. Keep your heads up and improve off the great effort tonight.

On one of the NC kickoffs, the Simon Kenton player gaught the ball at the one yard line but his momentum carried him into the end zone. The receiver looked at the official and he signaled to start the clock. I thought once the ball crossed the end line it was a touchback. Can anyone clear this for me?

Just heard the NC/Holmes scrimmage will be at 9:00am Saturday morning at Newport.

It is scheduled for 5:00.

Four trips to the state championship game and 2 state titles this decade, somebody must know a little something in the "old boys club" don't you think?

Where is the game being played at? I've seen 3 different sites the past couple days.

Beechwood has played them pretty tough the past few years before the series was stopped, although CovCath won convincingly this past year.

Does anyone have information on the Holy Cross Freshman tourament next week? Times and matchups?

This was Newport Catholics fourth game this year. Losses to Bullitt East, Scott Co., and Highlands. They beat Bellevue last Sat. night. Tough early schedule will help prepare for the All 'A' late next month.

Let's hear who you feel some of those teams are.

Raceland players, coaches, and fans, congrats on a great season and a great game last night. That is one high power offense I saw last night. You left it all on the field and I admired the support from your fans. I was most impressed with your LB #51. I'm sure if you looked up football player in the dictionary, this young mans picture would be there.

Holy Cross 28 - New Cath 6. Congrats to the young Indians on a well earned victory tonight. They outplayed the Breds from the opening kick. QB or HC is the real deal. The Breds need to move forward from this game with 2 big East Division games still ahead. No doubt in my mind they will answer the challenge. Holy Cross, you were the better team tonight, Good Game.

NCC defeated Ludlow yesterday 27-0. The Breds next game will be Thurs. against an undefeated Holy Cross team, on the hill at Newport Catholic. Good luck to both young teams.
