Scott Grizzle, a three year starter and honorable mention all-state quarterback from Raceland High School has made a verbal commitment to play football at Kentucky Christian University. Just received the news a few minutes ago after talking to him on the phone. He should sign a letter of intent sometime next week. Wow....they will be getting a well coached QB in Grizzle. He should do well with the spread that Damron runs.

Great news!!! Congratulations Scott. I have watched this kid play since he was 8 years old. I think when he was born he was throwing passes to the doctors.:lol: Scott has a tremendous work ethic and is a coach on the field. He has a great understanding of the spread offense and should do very well at KCU. I wish him the best.

Congrats to a good football player and even better young man. I have enjoyed watching him play over the last couple of years and mature as a Quarterback and young man. KCU is getting an outstanding player with a lot of character and heart. They will be able to build their program around him.

Glad he's staying close to home so that I can continue to watch him play.

Congrats to Scott, I've seen him play a few times and the kid has a great arm and will do very well in Damron's spread offense. KCU got the right man for the job if they want to throw it all over the field.

Yes. Clint Thompson has also signed. I just saw on http://www.kcufootball.com that JT Forrest has also signed. Those 3 were the heart and soul of the Rams this year. KCU got 3 outstanding players and leaders.
