The defense was tough on both sides of ball, HC returned the opening kickoff for TD. The had two very long runs by #18 for TD's. Looks like the Indians could have undefeated season. :fight:

HC seems to have a solid freshman class.

I believe #18 is Andy Roenker. Who returned the kickoff?

it was andy he retuerned a kickoff as well as a 50 yard run

So what was the final?

Holy Cross 28 - New Cath 6. Congrats to the young Indians on a well earned victory tonight. They outplayed the Breds from the opening kick. QB or HC is the real deal. The Breds need to move forward from this game with 2 big East Division games still ahead. No doubt in my mind they will answer the challenge. Holy Cross, you were the better team tonight, Good Game.

Wow it sounds like Holy Cross is really starting to get their football program going, so I must say I am happy they will be moving up to 2A then...

Assuming the qb for HC was #17, his name is Markel Walker. Good size kid for a FROSH qb. I would guess he will get at least some consideration for the varsity qb job next season with the departure of Abeling.

Are you trying to imply that this one school gets some kids who are not in the district? This happens in NKY? Really? Does the KHSAA know about this?

Maybe the hill shouldn't condemn other schools for extending their districts.

Maybe the hill

The "hill?"

The "hill?"

Meaning that NewCath has the resourses to extend their district by being a private school. Therefore don't condemn HC for being able to do the same.
