  1. WV has completely dominated in every aspect of this game. HC has only gotten lucky because of their slightly overall better athletic ability. HCs play calling has also been terrible throughout the game
  2. both teams played well. However HC easily could have one this game with a couple adjustments. 1) while they were able to run the ball their o-line did not play well. They were catching the Beechwood defense all night instead of attacking which is not what you want in a run first offense 2)HC did not seem to adjust its defense at all to keep at least one safety deep. They were getting torched on deep balls up the seems, I have no idea why Beechwood went away from that game plan in the second half but it helped HC get back in the game. 3) Barnes and Abernathy are for real and both should have been given more carries especially Barnes who only got stronger as the game wore on. 4)HC really needs to work on special teams especially with the long snapper, the ball was taking way too long to get back to the holder/punter, causing some major issues for the Indians 5)HC had a pretty big size advantage with their receivers vs the Beechwood corners maybe a couple more shots to Williams down the sidelines may have helped the Indians running game even more.
  3. SK will win big, they may be the best team in NKY and one of the top 5 teams in the state. I'm just hoping HC doesn't get beat-up too bad so that they can come to play when the 2A games come around.
  4. Game was much closer than score showed... Lots of mental mistakes by both teams, it really could have gone either way. Holmes had to big reverses by #25 to put them up late in the 4th. HC did a good job on containing Holmes most of the night up until that point. Hopefully the boys at HC get it together by the time the 2A games come around they may surprise some people. However they have a tough road playing some bigger schools like SK and Conner and also 1A powerhouse Beechwood before then.
  5. I have heard it will be one of 3 people: 1) Cody Reardon-sr.-A transfer from New Richmond (OH). Supposedly started there since frosh year. most likely to start, in my opinion. 2) Jeff West- sr.- started at qb for jv, he has an ok arm ran more than threw. will probably be the backup and a starting wr for the indians. 3) Markel Walker-so.- led the frosh team to a 10-0 season. He is extemely fast and has an above average arm, however he will probably need another year before he can take over the varsity qb spot. As far as wr i know it will probably be jeff west, after him it could be any of about 8-10 people
  6. HC recovers from last week and pulls it of again 28-21:dancingpa
  7. It would be awesome to see Dayton win, but I just do not see it happening BHS by 3 td's
  8. Vince Nerone from Cov. HC is definitely one of the strongest centers out there at 5'11 270 lbs, I'm not exactly sure how much he squats and benches, but its alot.

  10. well i have been persuaded to change my prediction (after seeing many games from both teams) to hc winning 28-21 it just depends on how well they stop the beecwood wr's. in case anyone wanted to know before i said bhs by 3.
  11. thank u most people don't realize that all of the kids for hc pay their own tuition...their fullback who is from cincy missed the whole preseason due to his tuition not being paid so......stop saying that they are on scholarships when really they pay their own money to attend!
  12. everyone seems to have an opinion and the game is still 2 weeks away but here so people will stop using other threads!!!
  13. both teams seem to be on a down year and beechwood seems to be slightly better so ill take beechwood over ncc 28-21
  14. ill say hc by at least 3 td's if not more..... dayton wont be able to stop the running or passing attacks from the indians
  15. it was andy he retuerned a kickoff as well as a 50 yard run
