Beechwood can stay undefeated in the district and take a big step toward a #1 seed and home field advantage by defeating the Breds and setting up a showdown with Holy Cross in the last week of the season.

 

NCC rediscovered their offense in the first and only half played against 4-1 Dayton by rushing for over 250 yards. Was that a result of the field conditions and will they have to throw it to beat Beechwood?

In the past with all things being equal with the two teams I would give the edge to Beechwood because Yeagle was such a better coach then Schneider. Now that he is gone it will be interesting to see Coach Rash match wits with the NCC staff. Both teams seem to be not quite what they have been in recent years so having seen Beechwood play and knowing NCC lost to HC I give the Tigers a 10 point edge

The Beechies are just too much for NCC this year.

This will be a very close game. Mu gut feeling says that NC will play their best game of the year and pull the upset by a FG. If Beechwood really is #4 up here in NKY, they should win easily, but I don't see it in this big rivalry game.

Well Beechwood had alot of trouble it seemed like stopping Ludlows shotgun offense during the first half of their game last friday. I know NCC runs a shotgun offense usually, so I think that will be there for NCC. Also it seemed like NCC went back to just pounding the ball last week also, so if they mix things up I think they will give Beechwood some problems. Also Beechwood didn't seem to have much of a pass offense to me. So if NCC can stop the run they will be fine. I have seen Beechwood play this year and they didn't really impress me much, and I haven't seen NCC this year and I know they aren't doing as good as usual but I will take NCC in this one.
