  1. My prayers are with Ethan Strode, his family and the Monroe community. Godspeed.
  2. I thought this was a forum on Kentucky High School Football and not OHIO, ND, or ELDER. Guess I was wrong.

  6. I am a Birds fan and what you are saying is a retread of a retread of a retread. Come up with something original. I have said before that I am no better than anyone and no one is better than me. I want a Birds' WIN because I am a fan. Not complicated, very simple, and not arrogant. I think you will find that all the fans of the teams in the finals want their team to win.
  7. This is one Birds' fan that while I like to see the Birds win, I enjoy the game of football. To me no one is better than me and I am am better than no one. Everyone have a geat today and even greater tomorrow.
  8. I agree. I just want a "WIN" for the Birds and an injury free game for both teams. Not concerned with the point differential.
  9. Thought the Boosters replaced it with the unisex Bird year ago.:idunno:

  13. I was there and I believe he left early. In 2008 HHS - Total Yards 377 Rushing 189 Passing 188 JC - Total Yards 354 Rushing 348 Passing 6
  14. How does HHS compare to the last 2 years championship teams? This year's team is still playing. The others aren't playing.
  15. Jumper Dad: If Highlands doesn't take this week serious then Pulaski can hang around with them. Don't worry the Birds have taken every team this season very seriously and will continue to do so. The Birds' coaching staff makes sure of that.
  16. CONGRATULATIONS BIRDS!!! HHS - Total Offense 354 Rushing 261 Passing 93 JC - Total Offense 296 Rushing 242 Passing 54
  17. Anderson is part of the Forest Hills School District which has two high schools Anderson (Div 1 moved up this year) and Turpin (Division 2). Some other info When I played in the GCL there were only four high schools – St. Xavier, Elder, Roger Bacon and Purcell. The GCL was called the Greater Cincinnati League. Now it refers to itself as the Greater Catholic League and has schools in three divisions who do not play in the same division for OHSAA playoff purposes. Football GCL – Central Badin – Hamilton, OH McNicholas – Mt Washington neighborhood of Cincinnati and Anderson Township Roger Bacon - St Bernard neighborhood of Cincinnati Purcell Marian – Walnut Hills and East Walnut Hills neighborhoods of Cincinnati GCL – North Alter – Kettering, OH Chaminade Julienne – Dayton, OH Carroll – Dayton, OH Fenwick – Franklin, OH GCL – South St. Xavier - Finneytown neighborhood of Cincinnati Moeller - Montgomery neighborhood of Cincinnati Elder – Price Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati and Delhi Township LaSalle - College Hill and North College Hill neighborhoods of Cincinnati Some people when they use the term GCL actually mean GCL - South. Hope I haven't gone over the top.
  18. Remember the admonition from Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in “A Psalm of Life” Trust no Future, howe'er pleasant ! Let the dead Past bury its dead ! Act,— act in the living Present ! Heart within, and God o'erhead !
  19. Can anyone tell me about Judd, Hall and Bratton? As I understand it they account for 79% JC's rushing for the year.
