Also the new "Press Box" construction will start this week. The old "Press Box" was paid for by the Highlands Athletic Boosters and its cost was $30,000. The new "Press Box" will cost substantially more.

A friend of mine that goes to almost all of the practices asked the principal where the score board will go. The principal said the same location as the old score board.

I think some call that "censorship." People have the right to their opinion as long as it does not violate the rules of BGP. There are a lot of opinions I may think are totally wrong, but I defend their right to have that opinion. I think some call it a democracy in action.

He is a nice running back but would not do well in NKY. In my opinion he is not a power running back. He seems more suited to counter plays and runs around the end. Defenses in NKY are too strong and disciplined for his type of running.

Tom is a classy person. I wish him well in all of his pursuits.

The term “diversity” is used in education to indicate individuals or groups of individuals who are not represented by the “normal” population of the institution. The idea is for students to be exposed to people of other cultures or heritages. The theory is that the more diverse the student body is then they will have a better understanding of underrepresented people. While the scholarship may not be called a “diversity scholarship,” its intent is to improve diversity. By the way it would be nice if some people would learn how to put a link into their posting.

From my source at Elder Coach Ramsey's son will be a Freshman next year. He is a quarterback and dad wants to coach him through his high school career. Doesn't sit well with some of the boosters.
