Yes, after Hoge gets his year next year. Just nice seeing a soph out there doing what he did. He also is the prototypical size already. He has a cannon for an arm and showed off his legs running for that TD tonight. Him and Hoge could start somewhere else right now but we are thankful they don't.

I'm just still so happy for Scott and their success. I can now see why they are doing well. Those are the unsung heroes for that team.

It seems like SK or Male are the favorite non-Trinity team at this point. Now how does the playoff bracket shakedown go? If SK has to face Male enroute to state, that might not be in their favor. I hope they do it. Despite our Highlands-Hater friend's opinions, he is right about one thing. SK is pretty good. I always root for NKY teams so I am pulling for them.

I always like how the Reds (and all major league teams) go out and shake hands with each other on their own team after the game. Unfortunately, it's usually the winning team only but that could be a good tradition to start...

I was waiting to see if he'd chuck it into the stands for a great souvenir as they ran in at half. I know he doesn't like individual gifts or awards.

It's all about perception. The perception by the people askng why was poor sportsmanship. I think everyone sitting around me was asking why as well. Whatever the reason, Birds were clearly in control and in my opinion really didn't need to do that. I understand you gotta work on stuff and the fact that HHS only needed about 10 offensive plays to get to 42 points, it still looks bad to the ley person. I get it. The offense didn't really get many reps in first half. Believe it or not Harrison drove the ball pretty well on the one drive right up to the botched fake field goal that got ran back for 6. The unsportsmanlike body slamming of the QB assisted in keeping that drive going. I was disapointed to see that but if you ever saw that kid play growing up you wouldnt be surprised. High motor but not enough self control. I had enough at half but enjoyed seeing presentation to Dale of the game ball signed for his 300th win. Any score updates?

Don't remember NCC starting 1-4 in a very long time. Are numbers down, talent thin, or is there resistance to the new coach? I understand these are tough teams and Dixie, SK, and Campbell are all good. But didnt they lose to Cooper too? I hope they use these experiences to prep for district play.

The best part of this is Drew could care less what "we" think. He will do just fine. He is an intelligent and driven young man who only has one year to prove himself. I think he will.

Saw Cov Cath scrimmage. Highlands speed and two platoon will just wear out CCH. Eli Mathews who plays safety for CCH is pretty fast and broke well on the ball and kept stride with Cov Cath receiving core is a pretty good player. Couple good running backs and linemen for CCH too. If Birds run hurry up O, it could be a running clock in first quarter. It looked like UC was standing still while HHS picked them apart. I wish Steve the best of luck the rest of the year and into the playoffs but Friday night will belong to the teacher not the pupil.

They are missing the boat not doing a movie night on non-game nights. I said it before, they could fundraise a ton by doing a movie once a week and having students/parents work it.
