Not that it would have mattered one iota but I read that Scruggs for Holmes sat out due to injury.

Boring game over all but fun watching Holmes 74 "Big Daddy" get after it.

"Houlihan" Houliston was 18/23 320 yards 5 TDs.

Impressed with Hergott, the QB of the future.

When you say future do you mean 2015?

Hoge will be the qb next year....

Yes, after Hoge gets his year next year. Just nice seeing a soph out there doing what he did. He also is the prototypical size already. He has a cannon for an arm and showed off his legs running for that TD tonight. Him and Hoge could start somewhere else right now but we are thankful they don't.

Unfortunately I believe the answer is yes...Not a bad problem if you look at the overall picture imo.

My lord Hergot is good but got to wait your turn at the factory. :thumb:

74 from Holmes is a very good DLineman. If he played at any of the "blue blood" schools he would have a lot more hype. Good motor for his size and good athleticism. Houliston can hit any window. Beautiful deep balls tonight and checked down quickly when he had to. Harris continues to impress me w the speed that he added this year.

Spot on. This is the difference between teams that win and teams that do not.

But then again if you are not winning State Championships then you do not have these types of problems.

Nice problem to have. Can Hergott play another position next year?

Highlands may have to ride Harris next week and he will not dissapoint imo.

Kid has size along with speed and I believe Dale is saving him for Elder. JMO

Perhaps, but I have only seen Dale do this once in the last 7 yrs.

He played Will Bardo at corner his Junior yr while Will was waiting for his time.

Iam not real sure where you would play Hergott but he is an athlete and Iam sure Dale could find somewhere for him to play.

I applaud the kid for his patience and loyalty to Highlands and I will apologize now for every JV team that has to play against him next yr...

Alex Veneman continues to impress me at wide receiver for Highlands. Super fast and quick with great hands. They have so many potential number one receivers.
