Embarrassed to be a bird fan up 42-0 and calling time outs with less than a minute in the half. Poor sportsmanship.

Anyone making poor sportsmanship remarks is completely clueless as to what's going on. Probably best to find out the facts before you spout off on the Internet.

Well not clueless here. HC isn't playing dirty and no reason to pull that garbage. Played there, coached 7 years in ftjfl. Have a kid that goes there. Put in my time and would be happy to discuss with you at any time. Fan of the birds here just absolutely no reason to run the score up any more by those stunts.

Folks that say HHS will be down at QB next should have just watched the 4 plays that Beau Hoge ran at QB for a TD. If i didn't know it I would have thought it was McCoy.

I don't think we can help when the other team muffs a kickoff and snaps the ball 3 yards over the head of the kicker. Harrison had the ball for most of the 2nd quarter. With a running clock you need to stop the clock just to get a play in.

It's all about perception. The perception by the people askng why was poor sportsmanship. I think everyone sitting around me was asking why as well. Whatever the reason, Birds were clearly in control and in my opinion really didn't need to do that. I understand you gotta work on stuff and the fact that HHS only needed about 10 offensive plays to get to 42 points, it still looks bad to the ley person. I get it. The offense didn't really get many reps in first half. Believe it or not Harrison drove the ball pretty well on the one drive right up to the botched fake field goal that got ran back for 6. The unsportsmanlike body slamming of the QB assisted in keeping that drive going. I was disapointed to see that but if you ever saw that kid play growing up you wouldnt be surprised. High motor but not enough self control. I had enough at half but enjoyed seeing presentation to Dale of the game ball signed for his 300th win. Any score updates?
