That's good that they are going to camp but it'll break my heart to see JD only kick. I bet he's one of the best all-around athletes on the team next year and he'll be kicking. I hope they break tradition and allow him to do other things in addition to kicking. The kicking game is not something that would make or break a birds season in my opinion. Therefore, don't waste all that talent on just kicking, please....

Yep. Two words, Seth Hope. That boy is going to be amazing, just watch that excessive celebration. Just kidding buddy. I think the D next year could be better than this year for sure. Also, Jared Dougherty hopefully will get to play some O and D this year. He can run, hit, tackle, or whatever you want him to do. That boy is a flat out athlete. There are some other soph's that could contribute next year too. I just hope that they don't restrict JD to kicking only. It would be a waste of his talent.

I'm really sorry to see Xgrad-JAGdad take the path of sour grapes. I have never seen one HHS fan say any dis paring comments regarding X or T. We all have the utmost respect for those programs. I guess you just need to post somewhere since your team is no longer in the playoffs so you took a play from a certain SK fan who likes to stir the pot. I'm sorry you feel like that is the good thing to do. I hope your kid doesn't read your posts. I would never want my son or daughter to see me act this way. Recommendation for Birds fans driving down: Going through Lexington is only 20 more miles and a lot less traffic since bluegrass Pky is the road less traveled. I recommend that route instead of getting tied up on 71. I have driven 71 numerous times recently for work and its got a bad spot near Carrollton and then the interchange near Waterson and 71 was backed up numerous times even back past Gene Snyder. I'd avoid it all together if I were you.

Whack 'Em has some zingers. I'm over the head-butting since one of my kids weren't the victims it's a little easier to move on. However, it'll stay in my mind like when Anderson Co took the cheap shot on Michael Waite. I'm very impressed and happy for Collins and Cooper for making to the state finals since both teams have been in existence less than 5 years. Come Friday though, the gloves are off, and apparently the pants too. With a weather forecast of 67 degrees, I'll be wearing shorts.

What is Collins' history? How long they had a program, how many state titles/appearances? How many players? I do get sucked in to some of these sideshows but have prided myself this year on not getting sucked in as much. I do believe Birds will win but I'm not so sure that it'll be the 77-0 that my friend Whack 'Em says it'll be. Is there a single true Collins fan on here?

I think HHS and NCC will win convincingly. I'm not speaking out of arrogance, just statistically. I think Cooper has a chance to be the Cinderella story. I know coach Borchers from high school/college and what a great guy. I'd love to see this guy get a W. I think you'd see a lot of shifting in kids to be in Cooper district. Good luck to all 3 and hope I can catch the early flight home to get a chance to make the trek to BG!

Obviously you don't live in Fort Thomas or you would realize how wrong you are.
