I knew it would be this bad if Stevens was out.

This agitates me as a coach. Parents think they rule everything and due to politics they usually do. All it takes is parents complaining to get people in trouble. Here is what I think. With the Football season being moved back to starting at the first of September the dead period could be held from July 1 to July 31 this would still give football 4 weeks of practice like it is now to get ready for the first game.

Raceland will win this game. With Stevens, Raceland 35 Bath 14. Without Stevens Raceland 56 Bath 0.

I can see the bandwagon getting lighter everyday. Boyle will not having a winning regular season this year. That is a shock, Boyle will win a few games in district but will have to face SW Pulaski in the second round.

Starting QB and RB didn't play in the 2nd half. LCA couldn't help but to score Berea kept fumbling in the end zone.

The mud hurt LCA because they couldn't throw the ball. If the weather is right which I am assuming it will be during the 1st round of the playoffs I would say LCA will beat Bath by a lot more points thatn they did in this game. Bath's offense couldn't move the ball. The only score came when they got the ball on the 2 from a INT. That being said Bath is much improve and will get the 4th seed in the playoffs IMO.

Just to let you know Berea was down 40 points at half time to the second worst team in the district, I really don't think Raceland will have much trouble unless, well, I can't think of anything.

Fairview isn't very good this year. The only play they run well is fullback trap. Bath County is not a terrible team but I really don't think that West Carter, Lewis, Morgan, and Fairview are the caliber of Mercer, CAL, Desales, Corbin, and Raceland. I have been wrong in the past but I believe the district will shape out as LCA, Raceland or Paris, Bath, Fairview, Nicholas, and Berea in that order.

LCA 35 Bath 6 Anyone team that can hold Raceland to less that 100 yards is pretty good defensively.

Sheldon Clark 35 Prestonsburg 14 I watched P-burg play Pikeville. I'm not sure what defense they were in the whole time. I would hate to see what a smash mouth team can do to them.

Why is Berea so bad?

Raceland by as many as they want to win by, could possibly be 100-0 if they want it to be that way. I'm sure they will show class and not beat Berea that bad.

It just so happened that LCA was holding more I guess. The flag situation was terrible. LCA battled 12 people on the field on night long and won.

First I will say Raceland is good this year. But at the same time I watched the Ashland game and they beat themselves. Ashland didn't get the ball to Thomas enough and they fumbled on the Raceland 5, fumbled on their own 15, had a TD called back, and Raceland's #3 returned a punt for TD. East Carter is terrible, and Rowan isn't very good either. I will say this will be a close game that can go either way depending on LCA's defense and if their offense turns the ball over alot.

I guess we will know if Mercer is for real this week. I am picking Mercer 35 Boyle 21.

I'm not saying the LCA should have won the game because Corbin was better team tonight, but at the same time LCA has 2 touchdowns called back because of block in the back penalties. I thought the game was officiated okay but Corbin got alot of calls in their favor. Corbin did come through on alot of 4th downs that kept their drives going, I will given them that.

Who does Paris have that makes plays for them and what type of offense and defense do they run?

I will say that this game will be close. LCA's offense isn't clicking, but there defense is playing well right now. Corbin's offense has about 50 different formations and doesn't do any of them really well. On the other hand Corbin's defense is pretty good. I look for a low scoring game that will depend on who makes the most mistakes. LCA 14 Corbin 7

It will be as bad as Woodford wants it to be. I think West will go 1-9 this year.

This should be a close game. I think Rock will prevail due to Lincoln turnovers.

The Jenkins guy at Madison Central was really good, its a pitty about him not playing longer in college. I would have to say Tim Couch would be the most popular choice.
