O.K., we didn't play this week, I have been waiting to do this and Bath's game is over. Raceland goes to Bath next Friday. What are everyones thoughts and predictions? I will stay with my policy of not making picks on Raceland games. This should be one tough hard hitting football game. What say you?

This is a huge district game to say the least. Bath with 2 district losses and Raceland with 1. This game will have a lot to do with playoff seeding. Ram players, your'e off week is now behind you. Time to start to work and stay focused

With Bath 2nd and goal from the 4 with 3 minutes to go Friday at Paris, Wayne Stevens injured his hamstring. Bad time for your horse to go down. Early indications are out two weeks. I'll try to keep you up to date.

 

Without Stevens - it could be a long night for the Wildcats. Although he hasn't been racking up a lot of yards as late, the defenses have been keying on him hard, opening up other areas of the offense.

 

Either way, I'd have to give a big edge to the Rams. Hopefully the weather will cooperate because Bath's field is in bad shape already.

Nope!:laugh: I never was mad at you and if I got aggrivated I honestly can't remember why and that was in the past anyway. Your Wildcats have a tough football team and we are very well aware of that. I hate to hear that the Stevens kid was hurt last night, I hope that he can come back. Prayers go out for the kid. Thanks for keeping us updated as I know you will. The Bath Co. program is definately going in the right direction and they will be very tough Friday night.:thumb:

Raceland will win this game. With Stevens, Raceland 35 Bath 14. Without Stevens Raceland 56 Bath 0.

The Rams are much more phsyical on defense and the have way to many offensive weapons for Bath Co. to keep up. If they Rams show up and play like they are capable of this game will be a blowout. If RHS plays like they did against LCA this could get interesting. However I look for the RAMS to be ready to go and send a message with this win.

With two weeks to prepare, I would say that the Raceland coaching staff has put together a steady game plan.The Rams had a great week of practice in the off week and were able to work on some things that needed fixed. The kids are really focused and as TheGreatestFan said, they are hungry and ready to go. Bath has a very good football team and always give the Rams a battle. Rams can afford no mistakes in this game. This has the makings to be a great football game.

:thumb: I agree on the hard hitting defense TGF, they along with the special teams have been a constant this season. Coming off the bye week and not hitting a different color jersey for two weeks they should be more than ready to lay some "slobberknockers" on people.

Talked to Wayne Stevens tonight at the Freshman game - he didn't practice today and won't on Tuesday. Although not as serious as first thought, it still doesn't sound good for Friday.

Hearing that the Rams may have a few injuries to deal with. WR's Benji Mullins & Tyler Boyles and Corner Tyler Chambers. Everyone is beat up this time of year. Hope all can play Friday night for both teams.

You are correct in that all teams are beat up some at this point in the season. Imo it tends to affect the class A schools more than the others just bc of the usual smaller numbers. I haven't heard anything about these kids, thanks for the info and update. If any of you Ram Fans hear anything on these kids, send me a PM or post it please. ( I am going to have to fire my contacts :sssh: .........haven't heard from them on this :lol: :lol: )
