LCA defense steps it up again!

Hayden (freshmen) had 17 carries for 99 yds & 3 TDs!

Nice win for the Eagles!! Hayden is going to be special before he is through.

cv - I think before Domonique Hayden is done with his HS career, we will ALL forget about his brother Tyrell's achievements! This kid is very special.

By the way, Tyrell Hayden is at WKU and is now on FULL Scholarship and is the #2 RB there - he actually had 7 carries for 84 yards last week against UT-Chattanooga! He is the real deal!

The margin turned out about as expected. Three tough games in a row coming up for Bath before the schedule moderates late in the season.

My thoughts since the first time I saw him. You can really tell Hayden will be a special player. I really like the way he runs. HARD!

You guys may not have been at the game but the O line is who deserves the props here - Hayden was 5 yards deep before being touched everytime they handed him the ball. He is good and going to continue to get better, but the o line was too much for Bath. They had a misdirection play they ran for hayden, the line would block down and Bath went with the blocks every time insted of sitting.

Stevens banged up his knee and Bath's best line backer went out. They are a better team than the score showed. The mud hurt Bath more than I expected. I think overall Bath had more speed but the mud hampered that.

Good luck to the Eagles from here on out.

With Hayden and the freshman QB LCA is goiong to be a special team for years to come. Both are excellent football players.

Big Time Blue is correct.

LCA line on both sides of the ball was the difference in this game...they controlled the LOS and gave the backs a chance to make things happen.

Barnett#18 ran very well also.

:thumb: I wish him well. I agree on the younger brother.

By the way...one other HUGE difference maker in this game was LCA's kicking game by #66 Kevin Minnick - he had 6 punts for an average of 46 yds/punt with several inside the 20(1 inside the 5) as well as Kickoffs that were either touchbacks or dropped inside the 15 and the coverage team held them down inside the 30 most times.

This kid was a WEAPON for LCA last night.

I made the same comment last night Eye. A lot of people don't realize the importance of a good kicker. LCA sure has one - as most private schools do.

Bath made a lot of poor decisions on kick / punt returns. They had to put in a new kid in place of Stevens on special teams and it is tough to teach a kid how to judge whether or not to return on the fly.

The mud hurt LCA because they couldn't throw the ball. If the weather is right which I am assuming it will be during the 1st round of the playoffs I would say LCA will beat Bath by a lot more points thatn they did in this game. Bath's offense couldn't move the ball. The only score came when they got the ball on the 2 from a INT. That being said Bath is much improve and will get the 4th seed in the playoffs IMO.

That is great! I wish him well at WKU.
