I see the District shaping up like this:

 

Lexington Chistian

Raceland

Bath

Paris

 

It hinges on this Friday Bath and Paris match up. And that game may be decided on Stevens' health and whether or not Dumphord want to play every other play or every fifth play.

 

I still say Bath matches up better with LCA on a dry field rather than Raceland.

 

By the way, in two weeks when Raceland travels to Bath Co. they may have to play in the parking lot - that field took a beating Friday night - it didn't have a good stand of turf to begin with - being constructed earlier this year.

 

I wouldn't be so quick to put Paris in the fourth spot. LCA and Raceland still have to play Paris and we don't know what will happen there. Paris is 1-0 in the district so they are in the hunt for the distict title as well.

Iron out your panties Old Rambler - I was saying Bath matches up with LCA better than Bath matches up with Raceland. Just giving the Rams some credit.

 

I don't really know what you are talking about and if it was my post about Raceland / Bath Co. it was not meant as a slam on Bath at all ! I try and not cut any team or fans on here at all, I sometimes joke around with some and they know (or should)that I am joking. I do know that I don't appreciate the words you used in your post regardless if it was kidding or not. I think that you need to read someones post a little better and take into consideration some of their other post before you come to a decision as to what was meant by it. Have a good day BTB

Great observation. Paris and Raceland have had some great battles in years past. Last year we got out of Paris with a W by the skin of our teeth. Paris is much improved and will be a test for any team.

I was going to say the same thing. Raceland is a great team too...

I am always glad to see our district teams doing well. Especially those that have been down. I think Paris will strike quick and score fast this friday against Bath, just like they did against Fairview.

 

Paris has a key player coming back this week from first game injury. Senior fullback and d.lineman.

Very nice to see our DISTRICT making some noise early in the season - unfortunately, this year is setup where ONLY one of us makes it to the REGIONAL Championship because I think we would have had two from our district in the Reg Finals this year if they hadn't changed the format.

I agree!! It would have been great to see two from our district in the finals. I think the one that does go will represent very well.
