I predict a well coached game. Nobody prepares better than Rock and I am sure they are devising a scheme to stop LC's running attack. Coach French has an offensive coordinator (Clevenger) who is capitalizing on the Patriots' strengths.

 

It should be the best game between these two in quite some time

Not so fast... The Sultan forsees a vast carpet of green laying before the talented backs of Miller and Calhoun. He hears the band striking up early and often with the grand ole flag. French will be standing in front of his soldiers praising them as they hang on to the ball this week for the great captain will not see them play losing football again. Death Valley will once again gain prominence of a place where other teams tremble at the thought of playing there. The stone will quake and spew forth the ghosts of yester year as dominace once again returns to lead the Patriots to battle. Echos of the past Sims... Foster...Miller... Pennman... Wilkerson...Vanhook... Newcomb ... and Simpson will once again shake the field with a vengance.

At the Lincoln Co. vs Garrard Co. game, Lincoln revealed a strong running game. Playing in "Death Valley" is tough for any team. It will be hard though, to beat the Rockets with a running game. The Rockets have one of the best defense coaches against the running game in high school football. Not to mention, with a big line, including D-1 prospect #74 Durham and #50 Pigg. I agree that this will be one of the better Lincoln vs Rockcastle games that we have seen in the last few years. I will have to go with the Rock once more on this prediction. Rock-28, Lincoln-14!

This is going to be a great game. The key for Lincoln is going to be the line play. They are going to have to have their best game of the the year to pull off the win. If they can, Lincoln should win. Miller and Calhoun are ten yards faster than anything Rock has on the field. Lincoln's passing game also seems improved this year. They are becoming a more all around team. The key though is going to be handling or maybe playing with the line of Rockcastle. Should they do this, Lincoln by 2 touchdowns.

I don't think Lincoln's running game is AS GOOD as it looked against a younger and untested Garrard defense. Rockcastle County should be much stronger. I think this game will be tight and low-scoring for three quarters before the Rockets pull away in the fourth.

If I remember right, my brother played in this game and Rock had a freshman playing on there 8th grade team.
