If I remember right, my brother played in this game and Rock had a freshman playing on there 8th grade team.

 

I talked to Tim Estes, LC Head Coach from 1997-2001 and part of the program since 1987. He told me that this did not happen. He said that someone had wrong information about that kid. He was a Burkhart (sp?) and that there were several of them at Rock by that name but the one who played on the middle school team was not in high school.

 

Hopefully that helps to clear it up.

I saw this team for RC, when they were young, at a 8th grade game in Winchester, can anybody tell me if they all stay together, they had fast backs and a great O,line.

Rockcastle County - 29

Lincoln County - 17
