Pretty good. I agree this one is a classic.

It Sims to me Oneijoe knows little of our stingy foriegn defense ....it does

have a bit of a french accent to it .....but we gotta rocket man!!!!!!!!!!!!! The pats "D" is looking decent this year.

I am going to go out on a limb for this one and say I think Lincoln is ready to turn the corner. This could be a huge springboard game for the Pats remaining season.

When BC,s game against HC went to the devil the week before I was a bit concerned for the rebs. Despite the "L" , BC showed much improvement....good job Boyle & good luck!

If I remember right, my brother played in this game and Rock had a freshman playing on there 8th grade team.

Three reasons that never happened.

 

1. It would never have been allowed by the RCHS staff for a 9th grader to play middle school.

2. All 9th graders play Freshmen games on the same day as the 8th grade and no 9th grader would've been allowed to miss a game so he could play down a level. That is a JOKE.

3. The 8th grade squad has had very good success in the middle school championships, and that would be demoralizing thing to do to your own team to say, "we have to have a 9th grader play for us so we can win."

 

About the game, this will e the most anticipated game between the two schools since 2000, when the series was picked back up.

I dont care to start a fuss about something that happen three years ago but it did happen. The kid was a Soph. and I can suppy his name, but I will not do it as he was only doing what he was told. 8th grade team always played first, but 7th and 8th grade game start times were switched to allow Rock High school team to finished pratice.

I just saw this after I posted. We vary somewhat. I am very certain that Rockcastle won the 1983 game and fairly certain about the differences in our scores of the 2001 and 2003 games.

Ok, we split. I have the score 64-0 as does the KHSAA in 2003. In 2001 it was 51-0 after further attention. Rock did indeed win in 1983.
