I think it is way to early to tell who is having a bad team this year or a down year. We are just into the 2nd week of the season. Who know who's bad and not. But so far I guess people are saying MBA is bad this year.

After seeing Lex Cath. play and St.X play, I really think X will come out on fire. I say X by 25. It might sound high but I really think X will not have two bad games in a row. Alsoin a 4q game X has them.

How will this match up be: Trinity Offense vs. MBA Defense MBA Offense vs. Trinity Defense MBA Special Teams vs. Trinity Special Teams I don't know anything about MBA and their team other than they won last week and very little about Trinity but I did go to the last 2 scrimmages. What do you think? And what is the record of this rivalry?

OK here's my 2 cents for what it's worth I thought X looked a little inexperienced at a lot of positions, they played 2 QB's, maybe having both play could be better because if one is not on his A game then the other could be. And if one gets hurt the other has game experience. However I kind of like picking one by the end of the next game and sticking with him and letting him get the confidence of the coach's and get the game experience. This of course is coming from me, and I'm not the coaches. Just my opinion. Anderson, left early it was hot! But hey would rather have him healthy at the end of season than the beginning if I had to choose. They could have improved on stuff, don't want to list the negatives, but I'm sure they will improve during the season, after all it was just the 1st game. But I don't know what to think about the QB situation, are both QB's seniors????? X marks the spot!

John Hardin rocked the boat last year, upset good teams and played close the game they lost in the playoffs, they should of won that one. Would not be surprised if they make it to the final this year.

Now that you said it, I do recall T's snapper throwing some of them back there, all very tight sprial and on target. Don't know if any colleges are looking, but he has the size and abilty to do it. He was very good.:thumb:

My observations: First Trinity has some speed with the running back #5 he scored the first touchdown of the night, a 3 play drive and he had 2 carries for 80 yards in that drive! Nick P was throwing the ball high at times tonight, he had 1 nice run, but he will be OK this season like he was last season. Trinity commited many penalties Trinity's Defense looked good overall. Lex Cath. had some big running plays and took advantage of space when they had it. Lex Cath. Has some speed of their own, I forgot the numbers but look out if they get a gap to run in. Lex Cath. #45 a very hard hitter will run you over, and is always going till the play is over. Trinity's Punter/Kicker is a big boy, and the best I've seen in who knows. All his punts were 50-60 yards with height higher than I've seen in college. Made all his PATS and his kickoffs were higher than the lights at the stadium! all were touchbacks except the one after Trinity was offside, he hit that short into the endzone but the ref did not call a touchback, lex cath returned it but it was called back for block in the back, still a nice return by Lex. Cath. A very nice return by Lex cath. I did not see the block in the back. Lex Cath. has a lot of depth just as much as Trinity, they should be contenders again for the championship. I wish these two teams play eachother again, but I guess that won't happen. That is all for now. I will report what I see at the St.X game, Go X!!!! :ylsuper:

Field turf is the best however the real stuff I would have to go with bermuda grass. Yes it turns brown in the fall but still is the best. UofL when they had grass mixed in with bermuda grass. Of course in late fall the field turned brown. What did they do?? They spray painted the entire field green. True story

Yes, longsnappers are very important to punts, and FG's. A slow snapp can lead to a block punt or kick, and an off taget snapp for a punter can mean poor form due to adjusting to the snapp, and a bad hold for the holder means bad kick by the kicker.:jump:

I think Cov. Cath. is a good club, but I do think they are a little overrated don't you think, for not playing a game yet

Last year he was booming them in warmups and during the game. We called time out and made him kick into the wind during our game last season. He can kick a ball now...................... Hard to tell if the height and weight are true on any team. Not a bash but I think most teams if not all look at litte bit better on paper than in real person. We will see in person who the horses really are:cool:
