i think these teams have hard ones: St. X, Highlands, Boyle, cch and the teams that always lose, when you think about it they ALWAYS have hard games because they lose

It is always nice to have 2 guys like that. One doing the kicking, and one doing punting. CCH has a nice thing going there. Trinity's Tydlacka does both, he kicks them high and deep in the endzone and his punts are simply amazing. He did not punt yesterday but had some fireworks at halftime. I was on the courier-journal.com, he is averaging 48 yards per punt!! Averaging:eek: His older brother started for Louisville for 4 years kicker and punter, I wonder who his kicking coach is?????

Just let them return it from the endzone it will: 1. Decrease touchbacks 2. make more teams practice KO coverage 3. Make coaches want more hang time "as in college they want 4+ sec hang time 4. Make coaches use strategy, "KO to the right or left side of field using the sideline as an extra defender"

Yup. Special teams make up 1/3 of the game as does the O 1/3 and D 1/3. Play your starters on special teams and I think your special teams would be more special.

Or don't use kicker friendly balls. NFL rule has "K ball rule" which is a brand new ball right out of the bag before EVERY kick, decreases distance and hang time. Ever wonder why NFL kickers kick it to the 5-10 yard line all the time, yes they kick from the 30, but it still is 60-65 yards. And many kickers in high school kick them 70plus. This is why. Trinity also has a nice kicker I think he may only have 2 kickoffs not touchbacks, and Trinity kicksoff a lot

I agree with you that there are more kids signed on these web sites than not. But kids do get overlooked due to the simple numbers of high school players in the country. There are many D1-A powerhouse players that are in NFL, I'm just saying that there are many NFL players that came from D1-AA or small D1-A. And of course players have to develop in college; I think we would agree not many 18 year olds could play in NFL. Just like you said there are kids who get overlooked by web sites and colleges due to many reasons. Let’s get back to the subject of this post, it's not the NFL, it's High School

You just said it, "almost" I'm not saying those on these websites are not good, THEY ARE. But there are those kids out there unnoticed to the web sites and many colleges offer them as well. I'm not talking about letters. And those kids that only small schools notice them. I don't know anything about Clark, however these recruiting web sites can only rank or "star" them if and only if the player goes to these "combines." Therefore a player could be very good and getting a lot of D1 attention but if the player did not go to these "combines" then they are not listed on these "main recruiting web sites" These web sites are a good base, but nothing more than that. All depends if a player goes to the combine. :walk:
