  1. Ummm...no, they got beat before Belfry had to play them again! LOL. Belfry just did what they always do...get to the finals. All that other stuff sounds GREAT though.
  2. We already did that once...shot down by legislature. Same could happen in NJ with their education commissioner. Not a done deal yet!
  3. You guys earned it David...great job over there!
  4. This one was painful to watch...thought numbers would help LC keep it close. Clearly that wasn't the case.
  5. Even the current private schools don't want charter schools! Many Representatives send their kids to and are graduates of private schools in KY...gonna be hard to convince them they are the way to go when many charter schools have failed in other states.
  6. Not sure that it's a real factor as of yet. Have we looked at points given up over a season...bet that's a better indicator. The difference in the 2 offenses in the first game over 14 games is a 1 point average...doesn't really indicate the spread of the championship game. Lets look at PA per game instead. Just my thoughts.
  7. Yep, my point exactly. Neither HS coach is allowed to work with kids at either school so as not to steal each others kids. Highly frowned upon by the current super. It's a mess.
  8. No...Cox's Creek kids go to Bloomfield...TNHS gets those. So 150 isn't a true boundary.
  9. Could be wrong, but thought he was AD at one point.
  10. Thomas Nelson gets kids from Bloomfield Middle and OKHMS so neither school has a "feeder" and currently neither has a coach. Bloomfield MS didn't finish their middle school season due to lack of numbers if I heard correctly. Biggest issue is not enough talent in a county that size to support 4 schools...all which are located in a 5 mile radius. NCHS never should have split...poor choice by the former super and BOE.
  11. Scott Carmony (sp?) is rumored to be next HC at Manual.
  12. I would think if Mark wants the job, and the rumors are true, then it will be his. PURE speculation mind you.
  13. This could really be ugly. Male is good EVERYWHERE and Im not sure anyone can contain them outside of T.
  14. Etown keeping their kids usually isn't the issue, it's the county (and surrounding) keeping theirs from going to Etown. They will be just fine
  15. How many counties meet that criteria? Nelson Warren Pike Brain is tired after a long day...who else is there?
  16. Spencer has had a record breaking year for their school...very respectable team. But the dream ends at John Hardin Friday night. John can match their horses and when things go bad for Spencer the wheels fall completely off..expect that to be the case this week.
  17. This one should be interesting...Monroe has been waiting for this group of kids since little league, and they are supposed to be the one's that can win the big one if they are ever going to win a title. Anxious to see how this one pans out!
  18. Team speed (not just 2 or 3 kids)...that is the difference. IMO. Having seen both play in person, that will be the difference. Mike Rogers is a Mark Brown disciple in the wing-t, so comparable were the two when I have watched them and that is my observation. PT has more kids, and more that can flat go...but that's why they play the game!
  19. On the turf with all that PT speed...I will give the nod to PT in this one. Close game though. 28-21 PT but would NOT be shocked to see it go to the panthers.
