I just don't see Monroe matching up with us at all. We have 2 common opponents. North Hardin which they loss to 26-18. We beat North 41-7, and Green County which Monroe did beat 26-22. We beat Green 41-0. I just hope our guys aren't looking ahead, to a rematch with CAL. That does worry me a little. I say the Colts D will dominate Monroe and hold them to single digits.

Should be a very good night of smash mouth football. Looking forward to hosting Desales and seeing what our Falcons are made of. We have seen better defenses this year in Bg and Wayne. So should be fun to watch. I love defensive games. I would be fine with single digit game. Just not sure it will be that lopsided. Could be....just not convinced! See you guys Friday.

i would like to pick monroe in this one but its hard to do that against 2 time state champs...dont know much about desales other than their defensive hype...but i do know that when a game matters monroe really steps up and they deffinately have the players to do it! Just depends on who shows up...how is desales offense progressing?

As much as I would like to see Monroe pull this off, I have to be honest and say I feel DeSales will win this one easily. Offensively Monroe offers nothing that can or will give DeSales problems. The Colts program is a step above these teams from this area currently. It will show. I'm taking the Colts in this one 38-7

While a confident bunch' date=' Monroe is just never on the same level as the top teams in their class. [b']They are good for a couple of games in November and that's usually it.[/b] Colts by 5. 5 TDs that is.

2008 Regional Champs, Semi State runner-up to Class 2A champs Fort Campbell

2009 Regional Champs, Semi State runner-up to Class 2A champs Fort Campbell

2010 Regional runner-up to Danville

2012 Regional Champs, Semi State runner-up to Class 3A champs Central

History proves that Monroe was on the same level as "top" teams in those years. If my math is correct, which is, they advanced and were good for more than a couple games. Keep in mind the majority of Monroe's November runs came when the Falcons were in Class 2A.

I hope Monroe shocks the state Friday night. Go Roe!

The offense is coming along. The passing game looked much better Friday (13-for-15, nearly 200 yards), despite the muddy conditions. Meanwhile, the defense is fully healthy for the first time since the 4th or 5th game of the season. Green County didn't get a first down until the third quarter and only had two for the game. We look as good as we've looked since the Ballard game early in the year. Good luck to the Falcons. Here's hoping for a good and injury-free game.
