I know he was pursuing a dream job...perhaps he resigned to go after it. -
Johnny Manziel Looks Awful

You beat me too it! He looks like he's been on a 6 month binge! If I passed him on the street, no way would I think.."hey, that's a pro QB right there". -
Will KHSAA ever allow this?!

Alabama also allows spring games. But since 7v7 got taken away in June, I can't IMAGINE they would sanction spring games. -
All those 8 man national championships. Lol.

One of the smallest schools in the state with sub-par facilities...who will they attract?
-
Not sure why Mike would want this job. Super IS NOT an athletics guy and the principal is a really nice lady but has never hired a football coach. She is all academics and expects EVERYONE to teach a full schedule. She will hire where they have an open teaching position, what's he certified to teach?

When was Lance at Nelson? I was unaware he was ever at Nelson. He was at John before getting the Graves job. -
Thought he went back to Somerset as an assistant? I could be wrong.

Not necessarily. If the coach is paying a fee for using the facilities for that training (just like many camps around the state that use schools facilities), then there should be no issues. Ex: QB camp at John Doe High pays 500 dollars to use the football facilities and brings kids in from all over the country and makes 10k on the camp. Nothing illegal or shady there...now, it gets interesting if there is no rental of the facility and a coach is running camps for profit and other organizations have been charged in the past to do the same thing. And more than anything Im sure district policy plays a bigger role. -
Nobody is "focusing" on the ball, uniform, helmet...etc. When a survey is done, and that was the "focus" here, and we have the opportunity to change our options, then why wouldn't we? REAL football should use a REAL football and not the best kick back for the KHSAA sponsorship. Again, not whining about anything...a question was posed to coaches about what is preferred and the voice has been overwhelming.

Crying? Not hardly. I wont use a rubber mallet to drive a 6 inch nail, why use a TERRIBLE football to play with. ESPECIALLY since we have to PAY for them. IF they were giving them away, that's different, but they are paid for by the school and the KHSAA gets the cash for forcing us to BUY them. Schools pay for them, schools should be allowed to choose a better product.

Same ball. The dye will stain anything it touches. Balls have fallen apart after a mild rain game. Balls come very slick and need a good rub down from the get go in order to make them usable. ANY ball is better. Poorly made, lasts 1 season or less (usually less), takes a week or better just to break the ball in. KHSAA would do the kids a service and go to a better ball. Will see if the money talks!

So I am confused...is Montgomery filled and Nelson open or isn't it? -
Now Hodge would be an interesting move.

Both OKH and Bloomfield feed TNHS and NCHS. Nelson is not open and Montgomery still is...perhaps its just hearsay? Or the process is still ongoing?

Funny how that happens hunh?! Players win and lose games...what a novel idea! I can't recall a team win a title without PLAYERS...If Egli is indeed the guy, he will do very well. Cut his teeth with Jim Mckee at Scott Co. and understands football. Montgomery Co. would be lucky to get him, but I can't imagine he would leave Nelson Co. He's been there since mid 2000's I think, when Bruner took over. Is this confirmed or just hearsay??
