Nah...running clocks make it a quick game. They will all be done by 9 oclock...but the bus ride will be LONG for sure.

Great win for PT!! -
Maybe they do every game....some teams prefer to onside kick especially if they don't have a consistent kicker. Just a thought.

6A R2-D4 Championship: Ballard at Trinity Predictions
Dark Horse78 replied to All Tell's topic in KY Football (High School)
If Central Hardin beats North than Ballard would meet Meade and Central and Trinity will play Ohio Co. and North Hardin to make it to regionals...I think. Don't quote me on that just yet though. -

Agreed, Hart wouldn't beat Adair in Columbia or in the Wendy's parking lot for that matter....Edmonson is out barring a miracle. -
Wow...I did not see this being a close game. I know Valley returned a bunch, but geeze.

Or 3 safeties... -
Their season has been really tough, here are the points given up according to KHSAA: 40/9/28/24/38/70/44/42/71 A lot of running clocks this season. It wasn't that long ago that they were competing for a Regional Title if my memory serves me right.

Trinity junior transfer Rondale Moore
Dark Horse78 replied to Randy Parker's topic in KY Football (High School)
No matter what, regardless of the last varsity participation he had in any sport at NA, he won't be eligible until the KHSAA says so-even if it's within the bylaws, he can't participate until the KHSAA says so. Then he has to go through acclimation as described by another poster. After school starts only one practice per day is legal, and in order for it to be considered a practice the "team" must practice (not just the player in question or a handful of players and some coaches going out and getting in a "practice"). Realistically, after approval it would be essentially 3 weeks, depending on the day he's cleared it could be the 3rd game after clearing. Or at least that's how Julian explained it to me a couple years ago. -

Egli is the RIGHT hire...you're a fool with rose colored glasses if you think otherwise. New offense, defense, and special teams. Slow your roll, take a deep breath, and go MOCO! -
Trinity by 2 or 3 TD's...this isn't last years Male and T is out for blood. Rocks make a statement in this one.

Tough row to hoe for Nelson....think they will go ofer Jim?? Looking at the schedule it looks like a real possibility. When was the last time the Cards didn't notch a win? -
That's brutal. GREATEST fear of a parent...my heart breaks for his family.

Yep...HD is spot on. Loyalty is gone in most facets of life, no shock when it happens anymore. Perhaps the school did this intentionally to get him to resign...Ive seen stranger things. -
DeSales Brown-White scrimmage
Dark Horse78 replied to DeSales Dad's topic in KY Football (High School)
Thanks for the summary, sounds like another good DeSales season is upon us! -
Too small? We haven't seen a full stadium for finals yet. All of the FCS and FBS schools would accommodate the attendance with room to spare. Or so I would think. I agree that the 2 day format is much better for all involved. I hated the feel of the games at Papa Johns...made the games feel empty and small. WKU is a GREAT venue, but the schedule lately has been a bit of a hassle.

Trinity junior transfer Rondale Moore
Dark Horse78 replied to Randy Parker's topic in KY Football (High School)
I guess that's what I am really getting at Rockin...if he's a legit recruit, where he plays becomes irrelevant. If he's not that guy, then exposure does matter. I don't have anything against Trinity or their reach...but I am also on the side that if you can play at that level then where is not as important for that guy as it is for the middle of the road young man that may really be MAC kid who gets a lower tier SEC kid. If that makes sense. -
This is a recipe for disaster!

Trinity junior transfer Rondale Moore

Nice, but doesn't do much for recruiting like you would think. National Champion rosters are full of kids who didn't win the big one. If you can play, that's all a program like Alabama concerns itself. Don't get me wrong, nice feather in his hat, but has little to do with getting a bigger offer. Offers will come from bigger schools because other schools are offering. It's a domino effect, one university offers and others want in because they don't wanna miss out (keep in mind big schools over offer all the time!). WHO you play for can help with exposure, but if he's already on the SEC radar then that part no longer is a concern. KY has had Alabama players that never won a championship or their high school teams talked about on a "national level"...it really isn't as big a deal as you think. You can play on that level, or you can't.
