Coach B has been named 4A KFCA Coach of the Year!!! I am proud to have been able to take some Mercer County games in on the sidelines helping to record stats. Being up close and personal with the Mercer County Titans when they were losing and winning was an honor and a thrill and it is easy to see they made an excellent choice. His ability to keep that team together and create and instill a positive mindset was a treat to watch. His pregame locker room speeches were motivational and inspiring and they made it easy to see why his team loved him so much and played so hard for him.

Congratulations Coach B!!!!! You deserved this accomplishment!!!!!!!

Congrats David. I can only imagine how proud your Dad would be right now. Can't imagine anyone better for this honor.

Awesome job at Mercer. Look forward to many wins from your team in the future.

Guys- I appreciate the kind words. PurplePride92 was with us during many of those rough nights early in the season. I always remember the people on my side when things are rock bottom.

It is awkward to get a Coach of the Year award after winning 6 games. Lol. But, these kind of awards are a reflection of the kids and staff. No one gets coach of the year without great people around them.

I will say there is ONE thing that I am really good at.... I can pick out GREAT people and surround myself with them. I have made a living hooking my wagon to champions. Usually good stuff happens because of that.

I know many of you one way or another and you have been friends for a long time. Thank you for the kind words.

Thank you to Jimmie Reed & the KY Football Coaches Association for what they do for HS football players and coaches.

Thank you & Merry Christmas!

You guys earned it David...great job over there!
