Mercer is in a no win situation .... If they win , they beat up some smaller school. This all ends when the playoffs start .... When playoffs start , Mercer needs to put the hammer down and use each game to prepare for the next... Likely they are already doing this .... Go Luck Mercer so much said about you folks this year , hope we get to play ... Bring the Scottie ....

great for the engineers .... Double wing has to be a throw back , wonder how many run it in a toe to toe style ... Very Close to rugby .... Couldn't imagine estill running anything else ...

I want to see Raceland do well cause for years they have got a pretty raw deal having to play the Beechwoods and NCC's but unfortunately they wont get past LCA and even if they do they wont past a NKY team

I think Mercer Dances along with Super B although I want the Devils to do it I must look at this objectively Mercer is going to have to much....

Mattie T , Derrick Timberlake , Ballash , and another kid from Russell who played Defensive end was something like number 58 in the 90's someplace ... he came off the corner and hammered people

I am always impressed with Aaron Beekman .. That kid gets his money worth.. He throws his body into every play .... He has to be sore on saturday .. Not afraid to hit or get hit ... He reacts the same whether he fumbles, scores , gets run over or runs someone over ... Certainly rare and appreciated in today's game .. Other kid who always impresses is Wills ... he is same as Beekman just has more body to throw around ... He is in his element barking out on the field and plays his tail off ... For East , the QB , and numbers 69,28 ,8 or 9 and 54 - linebacker ? played their butts off ... Kasey took some hits in this game ...

Hope it's a game .. but really don't look for it ... This and playoffs is likely last time we see Fleming for awhile .... Hate to say it but looks to me they ran from us in realignment ... Enjoy the drive ... Russell never realy beats Fleming , they give it to us according to their coach ... sarcasm ... I respect Fleming they have been very close and have had the kids to beat the devils in the last couple years ...

2005 had more talent and size ... But 2006 showed some serious grit against the Devils .. Hat's off to Estill kids .... In life grit outdoes talent in many cases ..

Pulling for LCHS ... Would like to see some wins for kids like Kyle Carter ... very good career for Dawgs and likely his best football is still ahead ... So let's rally at Jackson Bros , march past the pool , pay our respect at the courthouse ( home of my favorite Judge) and Beat Mason ... After the game we'll get a burger and shake at Dee's ... Go Dawgs ..

I really like both the coaches in this one .. Both are quality ... really represent the schools well and can coach football ... Good luck to both teams ....

OC seemed to be waiting on hitting some big plays and turning game into a basketball game - so system was working. It never fully happened because as someone said above 8 db's/lb's who could all run and more importantly tackle . OC offense was plenty good enough to win the game .. They should have run it more ... So the scheme will work if you can recognize and change to take advantage of what opponent is giving you... On the other side ... OC lost because of defense ... no fundamentals ... none ...

Chocolate milk with this cupcake please .... Hoping for a game ... East has had some decent teams in last couple years ... Generally have skills we beat in district teams (with skills) on both lines of scrimmage. East and Fleming have skills ... West has size .... Morgan skills - all hurt this year ...

What's up with LLoyd ... they should be better year in and out ... We played them in 2003 they beat us with some skill and size ...

We are all hoping Devils go all the way. Schedule and injuries have hurt developement this year no doubt about it .... Hoping Fleming provides a tough game into the fourth quarter ...

Russell district is very weak this year and it's hurting developement .... Where it really hurts is in physical play and also no one is even close to skills Russell puts out on the field ...

Just came home ,, Devils need to step up physically ... Estill kids played tough ... no depth ...

Hoping for a matchup , let's play tommorrow ... Your opponent can play Estill and we'll meet in Mt Sterling ... High School football rarely gets dream matchups . that pan out ... Last year we had dream matchups with Newport and Belfry ... great high school games that could have been won on the last series , last play by either team. We had lost those in the past , it was our turn for a senior team ( small class all played both ways) who had something to prove - no stars ... If we hadn't jumped on you the Scotties early last year that could have been a great one... wonder why on the first series you folks passed on fourth and short ... A score there makes that game alot different ... Fleming was beating us last year at half ...

Belfry has a program second to none kids, discipline, Coaches , staff , facilties ,fans. And Belfry plays real football. Also like the fact Belfry gets ready by playing up - Ironton , etc ... Downside .. Didn't really like our visit to Vipperman in 2004 ... parked in the road , stood in the mud with people looking for a fight .... While the only stand was filled with more people looking for a fight - somewhat unfair(for a state semi ) to our kids but didn't cost us the game , fumbles did. Likely CAM is different .. We were much better hosts , we even let you folks bring a banner on our field in 2005 .... lucky this didn't result in a fight , I wonder if Belfry planned that .... Mercer Scotties did the same thing but they likely didn't know better ... Looking forward to this years game ...

LC won't quit but it's clear this year they ain't got it and aren't going to find it .... LC needs to play for next year already. Sounds like the future is already playing , just need to focus on long term improvement.

I watched Estill County earlier this year and Estill has a totally different look they have changed to a spread shotgun type of offense

I like the E-N-G-I-N-E-E-R-S ..... but they don't have a chance in likely our last meeting ever .... I really liked the flip over the head last year for a touchdown ...
