Tim Riley is the best coach in the state of kentucky W/out a doubt. Year in and year out his team is in the running for a state title. Even the year they won it , no one expected them to do much of anything and the year they were in the finals against South Laurel people expected even less...But with this being said Riley gets my vote.

I really don't understand Walls being called one of the "top 2". He can play and I like his game but he's not nearly as impressive as Pettigrew, Knowles, or even Hill at that. He isn't even the top player on his own team, that being Mackey. I guess at Scott Co. he gets more exposure than these other guys.

That was probabily one of the worst games Shelby Valley had played all season long, unfortunatly for them it came in the Sweet 16. I do respect your opinion but I just don't see it. But they did beat a great Simon Kenton team to get there however...You would almost have to put them both in front of JBS though.

Yeah I agree, "Air" Gordon will not stay longer than a year. He'd be a top 10 pick this year if they hadn't changed the rule concerning HS players.

Eric Gordon is the best player in the nation..IU will be tough the next few years with the best recruit in the nation on campus, not Mackey of course talking about Eric Gordon.

Scott Co. Will repeat if all the underclassmen stay. They usually get one of two new kids who transfer in as well who can play.

Really, Wow he was robbed!!

Although he will not win it, Austin Hill from Holmes is the best player I've seen this year and I believe hes probabily the best player in the state after his performances against some of the best teams in the state. With that being said I believe Pettigrew will get the award, you can't deny those stats, yes he played on a weak team 34pts and 14rebound is just that, I don't care who you play for so he is more than deserving also. My vote goes to Hill like I said, but Pettigrew will win the award.

This kid sounds like a great talent, I know you said walk-on but is he good enough to be on scholarsip with a major program??

Heres few good questions.Who are the top private schools not in the tournament this year and did they have a leginimate shot at making it and making some noise in the sweet 16. How many played in the regional finals or semis?? What was their margin of defeat in their last game?? Whats this years total of 1 tem compared of each of the last few years?? answer these and we'll see if the playing field is unlevel. I think its just the way things worked out this season.

I agree, but I'd rater have Hill from Holmes if I was Kentucky. Knowles does remind me somewhat of Meeks however.

I would have NEVER said this before the start of the tournament, but Hill is the best player in the state. UK needs to offer this kid a scholarship, Seriously. I don't care who the coach is. It's not like Patterson and Lucas are going there now. He could be another Loften(a great player under the radar), we need to keep this kid in Kentucky. If not some school is going to have a steal in him.
