Mike Code...

Mike Code is NOT the best coach in the state.

Mike Code is NOT the best coach in the state.

He's top 5 no doubt IMO, and how would you know? Played against him twice in his first year of coaching, plus you're a tad bit biased. Ask coaches in NKY who the best coach is, his name will come up very frequently.... He's got a great mind for the game, and gets the most out of his talent...

I like Listerman at Cov Cath

Tim Riley is the best coach in the state of kentucky W/out a doubt. Year in and year out his team is in the running for a state title. Even the year they won it , no one expected them to do much of anything and the year they were in the finals against South Laurel people expected even less...But with this being said Riley gets my vote.

Riley gets my vote. Best in the state year in, year out. I like Mabry also, he's a good one. :flame: :scared:

My Top 10

1. Billy Hicks - Scott Co.

2. Tim Riley - Warren Central

3. Dale Mabry - PRP

4. Mike Listerman - Cov. Cath

5. Steve Wright - South Laurel

6. Alan Feldhaus - Madison Central

7. Alan Hatcher - Graves Co.

8. Bill Mike Runyon - Paintsville

9. Chris Renner - Ballard

10. (best young coach) Scott Humphrey - GRC

Mike Code...

I second that!!!!!!!!!!!1

Interesting that virtually everyone mentioned on here coaches at a very large school, with a wealth of talent year after year?? Does talent really make the coach??

Two of the best in the west haven't been mentioned ... Tony Hopper at Apollo and Wayne Breeden at Owensboro.

The best coach nobody knows about ... Greg Overstreet at St. Mary.

Mike Code is NOT the best coach in the state.

I'm sure if any coach on here were to go to work at Brossart tomorrow Bird Man; he'd instantly become clueless in your opinion?? You really gotta' get over it, the guy was just stating his opinion; and one shared by a lot of folks in the 10th region and NKY!! Remember he hasn't had wave after wave of talent come his way, but seems to do pretty well for what he's given to work with--Time will tell!!

I didn't know much about Wayne Breeden prior to this year, but he got the best of Tony Hopper this season, and IMO Hopper had a little more talent. He's opened my eyes, considering that I think very highly of Tony Hopper.
