  1. Hey all i'm saying is that if I was ever in that situation I would have to take the money.
  2. 15th 1.Bill Mike Runyon-Paintsville 2.Neil West-Magoffin Co. 3.Jason Booher-Shelby Valley 4.Johnny Martin-Allen Central 5.Randy Casey-Belfry 6.Mark Starns-Johnson Central Top Assistant: Rady Martin-South Floyd, wold instatly become one of the top 4 if he was hired as a head coach. He has unbelivable knowlege of the game and knows what it takes to win. Word is that he may be South Floyds next Head Coach.
  3. Hibbert has to be out of his mind, I don't know how you could be a lottery pick and decide to go back to school and risk loosing Millions of to an injury or even the possibility of playing his way out of the lottery. He'll definitly put the Hoyas in a position to be dominant however.
  4. Thanks.:thumb: Talk about a stacked team., I though Team KY & DS was stacked, Next years class will be special.
  5. Anyone know if the Stuart kid from Lafayette is playing anywhere this summer??
  6. Yeah, I agree I've seen him play several times in the 15th region since he was a freshman and he's never been selfish. He could probabily average 35ppg if he wanted to be selfish, but alot of times he does seem to pass up shots that he could eaisly make and I think the reason for this is because he dosen't want people to think he is a selfish player and at times he needs to just play his game and put the ball in the basket. He's and extremly good defender, probabily the best in the 15th region and the thing that most people fail to realize is that he averaged 8 board per game while playing the 2 and 3 which makes it that much more impressive. He seems to be a very down to earth kid and intelligant kid and has the ability to play at a good college. With that being said I just can't see alot of players in the state better than him. Athletically yes, more height and bulk yes, but better all around(shooting, defending, getting to the basket, rebounding, setting up teammates, getting to the free throw line...etc) I hard for me to imagine that.
  7. Slone's summer games with DS-AS squad will help him in the state ratings, people are starting to realize the he can play w/anyone in the state of kentucky. And he has proven how talented he is this summmer I'd probabily put him at the #7 or the #6 spot in the state ratings....jmo.
  8. Maybe so, Boyd is very good player without a doubt. He probabily does belong in there somewhere as well. On a side not: I don't think Givens is with Team Kentucky now.(just to correct post #19)
  9. I know I listed my top ten, but realistically every player besides the top 4 probabily has someone better than tem within the state, who hasn't gotten the exposure and will probabily be rated 5-10 within their own region just because of this. Here a player who will make a name for him self next season. Adarian Givens-Scott Co. He's a gifted athlete, who has all the tools to be one of the elight players in the state by mid season. He's currently playing with Team Kentucky, the same team that beat a very good DS All Star Squad led by Landon Slone. Just keep an eye on him. FYI....He's Jack "Goose" Givens Nephew if that tells you anything
  10. This is probabily My top 10(No paticular order wit an exception of the top 4) Darius Miller Bud Mackey Arrez Henderson Scotty Hopson Shelvin Mack Aaron Morris Landon Slone Dakota Euton Victor Moses Aaron Boyd Sleeper:Jordan Lee
  11. If they think this they should make a trip to Eastern Kentucky and watch some of the teams from the 15th region play. Its basically gone down to nothing in the last 2-3 years. I can remember when the 15th was one of the more dominant regions in the state with those great Paintsville teams. Allen Central had a team in 94' I believe that could have eaisly won the state as well.
  12. Active: Mark Few-Gonzaga, I think he'll get one before he retires.
  13. My pick up experience.... Dirty Old Man & Sweat Hog-Usually play pickup with that type on Sunday nights. The AI Wannabe-On occasions I play with an AI wannabe, usually on Tuesday nights. The Guy whose too Good & The Marathon Man-I Play with a whole Gym of these guys on Wednesdays and sometimes on sundays. Basically former college players or guys who play Independent basketball. The Coach on the Floor & The Playground Sheed-Played with a Guy like that and still do on occasions, I can't stand the dude and the thing that makes this even more annoying is that the guy I play with is usually the worst player on the floor, more times than not. Basically he fits both catagories The Guy Who dosent Know his own strength-Basically for me it a former HS and college football who comes in and plays when he's in town. I've been busted open and fould hard many times by a guy like this.
  14. Anyone else suprised to see Bradley at #24? Not bad for a Mid Major, they must have a good staff.
  15. JD VanHoose will be a SR. at Paintsville, your thinking of Jon VanHoose from Russell. Thomas Coleman-NC A&T....I believe Jeffrery Brooks-Penn State Jermey Anderson-Liberty University
  16. NAIA DI is bigger, D3 is bigger than NAIA DII. But I gues its really according who you ask. The reason why I'm saying this is because NAIA DI can offer full scholarships on athletic ability while NCAA DIII don't offer athletic scholarships but can get you finincial aid other ways. Some DIII schools will go out of their way to get you as much aid as possible though. Alot of the higher level NAIA DI Schools can compete with most NCAA DI programs. heres the way I see it: 1.NCAA DI(UK,Murry State, U of L) 2a.NCAA DII(KY Weslyan, KY State, Bellermine, No. Ky) 2b.NAIA DI(GTown, Cumberlands, Lindsy Wilson,North Greenville) 3.NCAA DIII(Thomas More, Transy, Centre, Mt. St Joseph) 4.NAIA DII(Alice Lloyd, Union, UVA Wise, Berea) 5.NCCAA DI(Asbury, Mt Vernon, Mid Contenent) 6.NCCAA DII(Ky Christian, Ohio Christian, Cincy Christian,Appalachian Bible)
  17. I think North Greenville is in the same division as GTown College, Cumberlands, etc...NAIA D-I. I could be wrong though.
  18. Thats what I was thinking, his name does not belong in that conversation....jmo
  19. I think were fine at the Guard spot with good young talent still on the roster, we got what we need a good big man.
  20. UNC Basketball(82-present) or UK basketball(78-98).
  21. My on that post I said seniors I guess, but that was my mistake since Mackey was only a Jr. My bad.:thumb: Walls-Marshall Mackey-Indiana(Junior) Haddix-Miami,Ohio
  22. Wow, Scott County cold have had 3 DI seniors last season and potentially I would say at least 6 players on thir roster could turn out to play DI.
