  1. Slone had 18 rebounds and 4 blocks, Wow I didn't know that. He can do it all.
  2. Bryan Station, I'm not sure he'd start at other mountain schools like Hazard,Paintsville,Shelby Valley, or Elliott County. He definitly wouldn't start at Station, LexCath, Scott County, Jtown, Ballard, among others and I'm not sure he'd get of the bench for a team like Holmes. Not downgrading a kid but just stating an opinion.
  3. :thumb:You and me both have predicted this since game 1, guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.
  4. There are supposed to be several Scouts looking at Slone at this game from my understanding.
  5. W/out a doubt, I can't figure this move out by BCG, walk-on or not it's a roster space he could use for a player such as Slone, Edmonson, etc...If this is true I have to question the reasoning of coach Gillespie.
  6. 1.Hazard 2.Cordia 3.LCC 4.PCC 5.Estill 6.Powell 7.Breathitt 8.Jackson City
  7. I'm just saying that if he has his heart set on playing major DI(UK,Louis.,Ark....etc) on scholarship then if they don't offer anything but a preferred Walk-on to him I could see him going that road to achieve this, Kind of like Twanny Beckman of Ballard last season who committed to IUPUI a respectable DI program, but insted enrolled in a prep school for a year and now scholarship offers are coming from all the Biggies. BTW I'm pretty sure that Marshall has or will offer Slone.
  8. I think Marshall,Charlotte,Louisana-Monroe, and MSU are his top choices unless he gets an offer from UK, UofL, or Arkansas if he dosen't get these offers don't be suprised to see him take the Junior College or Prep School route.
  9. Slone is the most complete player to comeout of the 15th in quiet sometime, if he goes DI and has one on one coaching and conditioning and works out with whoever signs him in the summer it will be unbelievable at how good he could be. I personally believe he would earn minutes at a bigtime program as early as his Freshman year. He's better than some of the players getting minutes on UK's roster this season....ex/Porter.
  10. He quits every year.... He a coach thats hard to predict, you give him all the talent in the world and he can't do anything with it but you give him a below average team and he wins 20+ game which is great just hard to figure out...lol
  11. Could southwestern again be giant killers and advance past Lincoln??
  12. Thats what I was thinking eighter that or Paintsville/East Ridge.
  13. Wow, Tough draw for Hazard I think the regional champ will be the winner of the Hazard Cordia game. Just curious when is the last time Cordia won the region if ever??
  14. 1.Cox-JBS 2.Whitaker-Hazard 3.Stamper-KCC 4.Campbell-Hazard 5.Gay-Buckhorn 6.Taylor-Cordia 7.Hollan-Breathitt 8.Davidson-Jackson City 9.Banks-Letcher 10.Stepp-JBS POY Hurt-Cordia
  15. The Williamburg upset over McCreary central got me thinking and I was curious. What is the worst record held by a team that won their paticular region and advanced to the Sweet 16?? The Mercer County team that went to state about 6-8 years ago was like 14-16 I believe, it was when Joe White was a freshman I believe maybe 1999-00. Should be interesting.
  16. I may just save my money for the sweet 16 and just make a trip to the 11th regional tournament and watch those teams beat up on each other. It dosen't hardly seem fair that only one team can make it out lol.
  17. Jared Fergason-Russell, just a player that comes to mind that no one has mentioned.
  18. I think Young from LC is the best as of now but by the time Watts is a senior compared to Young now he will be much better than Young is.
  19. I like Hurt Personally, I believe he's the best player in the region, Hazard Has the best team and Cox is best underclassman and potentially a great player but he never got much of a chance to showcase his skills. I believe Hurt ins most Important to his team.
  20. Very underrated player, I love his potential for the next level and if he could develop a more complete perimeter game he could be a DI prospect.
  21. I know there has been a thread or two about who should be Mr.Basketball, but I figured I start a poll to see Vote for Vote who win from this site. Your Call, if you choose other please post your choice.
  22. Just heard good things about the kid, wondering what colleges if any are looking at him.
  23. I heard the Love kid was the real deal although I haven't seen him play but statistically speaking he's doing it all. Any colleges looking at this kid?
