Although he will not win it, Austin Hill from Holmes is the best player I've seen this year and I believe hes probabily the best player in the state after his performances against some of the best teams in the state. With that being said I believe Pettigrew will get the award, you can't deny those stats, yes he played on a weak team 34pts and 14rebound is just that, I don't care who you play for so he is more than deserving also. My vote goes to Hill like I said, but Pettigrew will win the award.

This kid sounds like a great talent, I know you said walk-on but is he good enough to be on scholarsip with a major program??

The man was just posting news of what he was told, I think any new is better than no news and what if this is true. I don't see him posting this for no reason.

Heres few good questions.Who are the top private schools not in the tournament this year and did they have a leginimate shot at making it and making some noise in the sweet 16. How many played in the regional finals or semis?? What was their margin of defeat in their last game?? Whats this years total of 1 tem compared of each of the last few years?? answer these and we'll see if the playing field is unlevel. I think its just the way things worked out this season.

I agree, but I'd rater have Hill from Holmes if I was Kentucky. Knowles does remind me somewhat of Meeks however.

I feel the same way, like I said he is the most selfish player to ever put on the Blue and White. He hurt kentucky more times than not. Tubby should have let him go back to Michigan when he left his freshman year, who knows we may hav gotten anoter steal like we did in Meeks. He's not even that good of a shooter and takes 20 shots a game. I personally think he was out for himself and wanted to be the star over Morris and Bradley a did nothing other than make himself look worse than he actually was time after time. I just really don't like his game at all. His athletism and talent yes but the way he plays the game not at all!

I would have NEVER said this before the start of the tournament, but Hill is the best player in the state. UK needs to offer this kid a scholarship, Seriously. I don't care who the coach is. It's not like Patterson and Lucas are going there now. He could be another Loften(a great player under the radar), we need to keep this kid in Kentucky. If not some school is going to have a steal in him.

Yeah the 15th is not what it was 3-4 years ago, Well you know how it used to be you played in the 15th, But really the talent level player wise and the Athletes in the region are just not there anymore. I don't think that even the standout players would have started 3-4 years ago and probabily wouldn't have seen alot of minutes. Paintsville was probabily the best team in the region, by far the most talented, and could have played with anyone in the sweet 16 but choked as usual in the regional tournament. They Beat Elliott County 60-53 and lost to South Laurel 57-58. But besides that there wasn't much. Allen Central was in the final 4 of the region and 1 shot away from playing for a title and they probabily had less talent individually on their team than they have EVER had if that is any indication of how weak the region was this season. Shelby Valley is going to be awfully good in a couple years however, so I guess you can say the future looks bright in the 15th.:thumb:
